Comedian Helen plays host on a night to remember, for all the wrong reasons. She's cooking poppy seed cake, but forgets the poppy seeds. After she burns the rice Helen tucks into the champers for a bit of Dutch courage. But the worst isn't over - when the other celebs arrive, Helen manages to insult half of them by spelling their names wrong on their place settings.

  1. I too came to this website looking for Ulrika's recipe for chocolate cake which everyone in the programme raved about. Any chance of this being shared?

  2. I can't find any of Ulrika's recipes but especially want the wheat free chocolate cake recipe please? Love the programme but these recipes seems a bit odd! Many thanks.

  4. Persian chicken sounds and looked great - and as for the puddings! What I came looking for was the jewelled rice recipe - that really appealed to me (in spite of supposedly being burnt!!). Please can we have the recipe? Pretty please??

  5. I have just watched Helen Lederer's dinner party on Come Dine with me. I loved the idea of her starter and the pudding's, however we are told for the recipes come to this site. What a disappointment, you give the starter details for the tartlets, however no details regarding the Chilli Jam. Then the Poppyseed Cheese Cake, in the programme it is baked, the above recipe makes no mention of baking. We are told to put in the fridge to set. Clearly no effort or interest has been put into this presentation. First time I have wanted to copy a recipe from the programme and guess what the last.
