Trout farmer, Tim Small, hoped to hunt, shoot and fish his way to victory in Come Dine With Me Gloucester

Father of two, Tim Small, lives a self sufficient lifestyle – still, with an 80 acre estate to plunder, so would we. His guests will be served the finest foods reared and killed on his very own land. Ooh arr!

Keen as mustard, Tim's up with the cock. But after a full day of huntin', fishin' and shoppin', he's behind schedule when his guests arrive. Perhaps he can distract them with his Indonesian love seat. According to Tim, it's got erotic powers. Cripes.

Slightly flustered, the self-made squire should at least win a fan in one guest, organic restaurateur Kat McCleod. She's keen on his freshly-caught fish but over-faced by the hefty portions. Not all the diners are so complementary. Rival hostess, Pat, is not amused by Tim's amuse bouche: "Give it to the dog," she hoots. Charming.

The fish farmer's floundering. He's even forgotten to prepare the main. Still, you don't become lord of the manor without a bit of ingenuity. Gambling against convention, Tim gets his guests to cook their own at the dinner table. It's a risky move in this competitive company but amazingly, it pays off. The tabletop barbie is a hit and the guests are lapping it up. You live to ride again, Squire.

We were amused by his palate cleansing English style carrot gazpacho amuse bouche.

It's all hands on steak with Tim's stone cooked meat with vegetables and dips.

Pucker up buttercups, Tim's taking the pith with his lemony pud.
