Clive is a Bristol-based arachnologist (that's a spider expert by the way). His eight-legged obsession means he has a selection of friends around his home guaranteed to give his guests the creepy-crawlies

Health obsessive Clive is serving up no less than six dishes but after last night's excesses, with Chyna ending up comatose on Ronnie's sofa before dessert, Clive has opted to make the menu even healthier by serving almost no alcohol. Sadly, his guests aren't so keen, and it's not long before they are demanding something stronger to drink.

So will spider man Clive's booze-free night catch his delighted diners in a wonderful web of fine dining?

  1. sorry clive but this is not the correct way to make carbonara. in italy it is done very simply with bacon and eggs only. no onion, garlic or cream although i add a little bit. you should also add black pepper as this represents the carbon. plenty of parmigiano. you should also boil your pasta in a huge pan of water or the pasta just reabsorbs the starch in a small pan as there is not enough water. please also do not pronounce 'ciabatta' cheeabarta, like some indian bread. soft 'cia'and a short and simple 'batta'.
