Tricia Martin - Stoke's answer to Hyacinth Bucket - makes her bid for dinner party dominance in this episode of Come Dine With Me. Tricia's menu is carefully thought out: home-made watercress soup, fish pie and a sensational pannetone bread-and-butter pudding which she hopes will win top marks from her guests.
Little does Tricia realise her guests have unrealistic expectations. The guests imagine Tricia's home is an elegant manor house with servants and champagne on ice. So what will they make of Tricia's suburban semi, her modest dining room and her underwhelming home-made food?
Tricia starts proceedings with an elegant dish of watercress soup.
For dessert it's a choice of panettone whizzed up into a delicious bread and butter pudding or a classic chocolate pot made with a hint of orange.
