Tommi meets a shepherd called Gregorio whose flock produce some of the very finest Manchego. Tommi can't wait to get cooking with his cheese.
Using Manchego and chorizo, Tommi cooks up some migas, a dish invented by Spanish shepherds using transportable, easy to cook ingredients that don't go off quickly.
But as she attempts to give the dish her own touch, Tommi quickly learns that traditional recipes are guarded with fierce pride here. Even though he has never cooked migas himself, Gregorio has opinions on everything from the size of the cubes of cheese to Tommi's attempt to cook the dish using an onion.
"I'm beginning to wonder if there's any part of this meal I'm going to cook myself," says an amused Tommi.
