Restaurants and shops in Huelva are heavily focused on ham and quality is everything. Hams are marked with a label guaranteeing their provenance and given a 'star' rating (in acorns) to signify their quality.

At 300 euros for a leg, this ham isn’t cheap but a leg will keep for about four months.
