Pork is to Spain what roast beef is to UK, says Tommi.

To see how passionate the locals are about their pigs, Tommi and Guy accept an invitation to a gruesome but revered ritual - the neighbourhood pig slaughter.

Black pudding, chorizo and ham from the slaughtered pig will feed a family throughout the winter months. But though the killing is practical it's not for the faint-hearted. At 7am, Tommi and Guy knock back a stiff drink to prepare themselves for the grizzly events to come.
