By no means confined to the pear tree, partridges like to roost in all types of arable land and hedgerows and can be shot from September to the beginning of February.
A classic dinner party hit, try roasted partridge stuffed with sage and chorizo next time you’re entertaining and have all your guests saying a-ha!
