We are limited by our butchery capacity and staffing. And we also have a limited number of birds so I would advise to buy now rather than later!
We have seen the decline over the years (we started in 1988) of the traditional large turkey for Christmas. People are having smaller get-togethers, and often want a change from turkey. Wild Boar is very popular this year.
If meat is frozen when still fresh, I personally could not tell the difference between a previously frozen piece of meat and a fresh one, as long as it is defrosted slowly. Freezing is after all the most natural preservation method.
Our prices are fixed and bird flu has not affected availability.
We only sell whole, oven-ready birds weighing 4-8kg.
