These little spicy balls of beans or chickpeas have journeyed from the East where they're often served with salad and harissa. Easy to carry and scrumptious to scoff falafel have become the snack of choice the world over, from the souks of Tunis to the food stalls of T in the Park. Stick a patty in a pitta and you're falaf-ing.
