3. Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre (Image 3 of 8)
The words dog, fish and head don't immediately conjure up thoughts of brewing but the craft ale brewers from Delaware pride themselves on creating 'off-centred stuff for off-centred people'.
This deep mahogany ale weighs in at a respectable 8 per cent ABV and translates literally as the 'reason for being'. It's good to be honest.
