Michael Phillips is the current United States barista champion and third ranking world competitor. Based in Chicago and working mainly out of the Intelligentsia Coffee & Tea’s Broadway coffee bar, which has five stores in Chicago and Los Angeles and recognised as a pioneering coffee roaster.
