No discussion of holiday food heaven would be complete without a saunter into the bistros and cafes of Parisian streets. As popular as ever with British romantics hoping to fall in love on the banks of the Seine, if you can't find fine food in the French capital you'll probably find the rest of the world lacking as well. You might never win a Michelin star but this cheat's coq au vin will soon have your loved ones saying ooh la la.
