Closing date: 03 Aug 2009

Brush up your dinner party cookery skills by winning a day for you and a friend at the Brook Hall Seasonal Dinner Party Course sponsored by Cockburn's® port.

Entertaining friends outdoors is one of the joys of the Great British summer, to help inspire you, Cockburn’s has teamed up with Steve Bulmer, the co-owner and head chef at Brook Hall Cookery School (former chef and director of the Raymond Blanc Cookery School at La Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons) to develop a series of Cockburn’s inspired recipes to really impress your guests.

You will learn to whip up a delectable repertoire of recipes such as stuffed red pepper with cous cous and seeds which perfectly matches with Cockburn’s 10 Year Old Tawny; and gazpacho with avocado granita - the ideal partner to refreshing aperitif of Cockburn’s Light Dry White Port & Tonic over ice with a slice of lemon.

Made predominantly from Touriga Nacional grapes grown exclusively in Portugal’s Upper Douro Valley, Cockburn’s ports are among the world’s premium ports and are steeped in tradition and heritage.

So whatever the occasion, make the most of it by serving a quintessentially English glass of Cockburn’s port. With a style to complement every form of get-together, Cockburn’s is sure to get your summer off to the perfect start.
