A proud moment
The next stop was a personal triumph for Andrew who fulfilled a life-long ambition to make a Scotch egg. This was no ordinary egg, however but a Black Watch variety using black budding as the sausage filling.
The Handmade Scotch Egg Company, Andrew’s mentors for the task, sell their wares at Temes Valley farmers market, among other places and Andrew went along to meet some of the other makers. The market is situated behind the Talbot pub on the banks of the River Teme and boasts a variety of local producers selling everything from garlic honey to sausage sarnies.
