A taste of chocolate heaven

Onwards and upwards, Andrew headed to the tip of Britain to visit the nation's most northerly chocolatiers, Cocoa Mountain. Built on a cold war RAF early warning base, the shop and factory are part of a local craft village, which includes painters, woodworkers and other artisan producers. While such a northerly location might not seem like the best business plan, a close relationship with the local postmaster ensures the company's top-notch chocolates can be posted across the country within a day.

Heading back down the country, Andrew visited the Loch Fyne Oyster Company, experts in the art of the oyster. The firm have been farming mussels and oysters on the shores of Loch Fyne for 30 years as well as running a successful smokehouse and a brace of restaurants. Andrew took a boat tour of the business and got a lesson in the best way to shuck oysters, smoke salmon and generally work mussels.
