Back behind the fryer

Finally, Andrew took a step back in time and revisited his previous profession behind the counter of the local chippy. Richard Coleman has been serving up cod and chips in Coleman's fish and chip shop for the last 15 years and reflected on the ever-changing shift of public opinion towards Britain's national dish. He also let Andrew get his hands on the fryer.

And so to Yorkshire – land of pies and puddings. Andrew's first stop was the market town of Wetherby where he popped in for lunch at the Market Place Deli. Ian Gidding has been running the bakery with the help of his family for 15 years and specialises in cakes and pastries with a Mediterranean twist – it seems even in the heart of Yorkshire people want their pastries with a touch of Italian flavour.
