The immensely talented Jane Horrocks captured British hearts with her comic performances as the dizzy Bubbles in Absolutely Fabulous, before becoming an international star in Little Voice. Born in Lancashire, in 1964, Horrocks studied at the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts (along with Ralph Fiennes). After initially working in theatre and television, Horrocks starred in films like The Dressmaker (1988), The Witches (1990) and Life Is Sweet (1991), before reprising the role she made famous in The West End in the film version of Little Voice in 1998. Her performance as a shy girl with an amazing ability to mimic the voices of famous singers won her rave reviews and international acclaim.
