A talented actress, with an understated sensuality that made her a sex symbol, most famous for appearing in Logan's Run, An American Werewolf In London and Walkabout. Born in Somerset, England in 1952, Agutter trained as a ballet dancer in her youth. She got her big break as a child star in The Railway Children in 1970 and then appeared in Nicolas Roeg's Walkabout in 1971, as a teenage girl lost in the Australian outback. After a few quieter years, Agutter returned alongside Michael York in sci-fi movie Logan's Run, in 1976, as the sexy future girl who makes him realise it's worth living beyond thirty. She went on to appear in films like The Eagle Has Landed, An American Werewolf In London and won a BAFTA, in 1978, for her performance in Equus alongside Richard Burton.
