Ocean's Twelve: The original Ocean's Eleven - the one with Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin - was little more than a vanity project. It was a way for Hollywood to help the Rat Pack fill time between evening shows at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. Nostalgia gives it a certain rosy glow if you haven't watched it for years, but any repeat viewing rubs your nose in its ramshackle, home movie self-satisfaction...
