A Man Apart: Sean Vetter (Vin Diesel) and Demetrius Hicks (Larenz Tate) are buddies since way back. LA street kids, they became cops because, as the latter says, "I was sick of complainin' " that the po-lice did nothing for their community. As DEA agents, they're tough, they're maverick ("We don't look like cops, we don't dress like cops, we don't talk like cops") but they get the job done...
