Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge, A Review

Second instalment of the long-running slasher film series that spanned nearly 10 years and spawned a syndicated TV series. Dead, razor-gloved menace Freddy Kruger (Englund) returns to haunt the dreams of Springwood teenager Jesse (Patton), using the moody youth to bring him fresh souls. Standard fare with plenty of blood and gore from special effects expert Kevin Yagher. The film is notable for its unusual (for mainstream America) subplot involving a leather-clad gay gym coach.
