Goldfinger: The Bond franchise really started to take off with this third, and best, instalment. Connery's Bond is sent to investigate Auric Goldfinger (Frobe), who is stockpiling gold bullion, intending to nuke Fort Knox, and hence increase the value of his gold substantially. However preposterous the plot, it wouldn't work better any other way...
