Think you might be the next Tarantino? If you're an aspiring film-maker, it's time to get noticed - enter this year's Rushes Soho Shorts Festival.
The annual Rushes Soho Shorts Festival has increasingly become an event to look out for on London's film calendar since it began five years ago. The free-to-enter event is judged by a panel of film critics, and focuses entirely on showcasing new talent. Past winners have gone on to achieve success on the international film circuit.
Entries for this year's festival are currently being accepted until 7th May 2004. In order to qualify, all films entered must have been produced in the last 12 months (up to 07/05/04) and have a maximum running time of up to 12 minutes. They should also be eligible for one of the following categories:
Short film
Newcomer
Title Sequences and Idents
Animations
Music Video

The festival kicks off on Saturday 31st July and free screenings of shortlisted films will run in bars, cafés and cinemas throughout Soho, culminating with the awards ceremony on Friday 6th August. So get your skates on and enter now!
