For the first time in 30 years, Ealing Studios, the famous production factory behind some of Britain's best known comedies, is getting a revamp. Uri Fruchtmann and partner Barnaby Thompson of Fragile Films are co-ordinating a huge rebuilding programme and a thriving new 'media campus'. Fruchtmann talks to FilmFour.com about what made the good old days good, and why Britishness in films makes them great.
