Arts Council of England
The Arts Council is the UK's national organisation dedicated to increasing support and awareness of the arts. Distributes government and Lottery funds through it's national and regional offices.
British Council - British films
The on line British films catalogue, basic information on every film produced in the UK.
British Film Commission
The British council promotes the UK as an international production centre and to encourage the use of British locations, services, facilities and personnel. The BFC provides information on all matters relevant to overseas film producers contemplating production in the UK like maps, tax land employment laws, work permits and regional film offices.
British Film Institute
Site includes details of what's on at the National Film Theatre and the IMAX screen on the South Bank, London, info on the national film archive, BFI publications and an 'facts on film' page with statistics on UK cinema admissions.
BKSTS - The Moving Image Society
The British Kinematograph Sound and Television Society trains and represents all those involved with the media industry, organising conferences, courses and roadshows on new technologies around the country.
