Basic introductory site for this dynamic young organisation aimed at sharing news and information among young producers. For a relatively small joining fee members, in the main struggling new producers, get monthly newsletters, seminars with guest speakers from the industry, discounts on legal services, books and journals and plenty of friendly shoulders to cry on when the going gets tough(er).

Producer's Alliance for Cinema and Television - PACT
Site for the UK's primary trade association for producers with press releases, industry jobs and a list of members. PACT lobbies government and broadcasters on producer's rights and also provides extensive services for it's members, legal services, events and seminars and an extensive range of contacts.

Shooting People
Those despairing in our nation's cinema can take heart from this online independent film network. Are you a director in search of a camera operator? A scriptwriter in search of a producer? Shooting People aims to solve all your film-related problems, and even those you didn't know you had. Begun two years ago as an email network for people working in independent film in the UK, the service now has thousands members and counting.
