The BUFVC aims to promote the production, study and use of film and related media in British higher education and research. Details of publications like their useful Researcher's Guide, write ups of conferences, on line databases and a list of their one day courses which can be on anything from encoding digital media for the net to clearing rights.

'Your very own movie school open 24 hours a day, seven days a week'. US site with video demos, home assignments, and advice on getting your first job. Sections on every aspect of the process: film history, screenwriting, stocks and labs and editing. Under the special effects section alone there were forums on 'blood and goo' and low budget prosthetics, animatronics and DIY computer effects.
Film Education
Film Education is a registered charity funded by the film industry in the UK with the aim of encouraging and promoting the study of film and cinema within the UK teaching curriculum.
