80 Die Another Day 2002 - Estimated Admissions 8.58m
Man in tuxedo blows up enemy lair, wins girl, makes bad jokes. No surprises in the 20th Bond then - apart from the fact that it's very entertaining. 76 Ghost 1990 - Estimated Admissions 8.78m
A perfect balance of laughs and tears, a sparklingly funny script and a clever story about love beyond the grave make this a superior blockbuster romance. The role of Oda Mae Brown was not written with Whoopi Goldberg in mind, but Patrick Swayze, an admirer of hers, convinced Ghost's producers that she would be right for the part. She ended up winning an Oscar for her performance.
