65 Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones 2002 - Estimated Admissions 9.16m
Light years ahead of the calamitous The Phantom Menace, George Lucas' space opera franchise got back on track in 2002 with the telling of Anakin Skywalker's drift toward the dark side of the Force. Action lovers marvelled at the extended, 40-minute fight scene which forms the film's climax. Fans of The Phantom Menace's Jar Jar Binks were less satisfied - his character's screen time was seriously reduced after the film's producers judged him not to be popular enough.

64 Lost Horizon 1937 - Estimated Admissions 9.2m
Romantic fantasy and sci-fi adventure film from Frank Capra, in which a British diplomat and a small group of civilians crash land in the Himalayas, and are rescued by the people of the mysterious, Eden-like valley of Shangri-La. Coming after the disillusionment of the Depression and during a time of European Fascism and the Spanish Civil War, the escapist, life-affirming (and somewhat naive) film had an enormous impact on viewers.

63 49th Parallel 1941 - Estimated Admissions 9.3m
Sponsored by the Ministry of Information and 18 months in the making, this is one of the best propaganda films produced in Britain during the Second World War. With a stellar cast and a rousing score by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Powell and Pressburger's gripping action drama thoroughly merited its Oscar for best original story and its nominations for best picture and screenplay.

62 I'm All Right Jack 1959 - Estimated Admissions 9.4m
As part of an elaborate arms scam, a naïve young man is forced to work his way through a company from the bottom up, stirring up union difficulties along the way. Peter Sellers shines as dour Marxist shop steward Fred Kite, in a role which transformed his career and won him a British Academy Award.

61 Moonraker 1979 - Estimated Admissions 9.41m
James Bond jumps on the sci-fi bandwagon as he goes in search of a missing shuttle while avoiding being bitten by metal-mouthed thug, Jaws. With the exception of the title, the character Drax, and a couple other minor elements, this is an original story rather than an adaptation of Fleming's novel. Almost every scene is played for laughs, with Roger Moore camping it up as Britain's greatest secret agent.
