Why you should see
ScarfaceWhat better way to say goodbye to the summer than with a film that reminds you that "the world is yours" - at least it is if you're willing to deal mountain loads of coke, screw over everybody and carry around a rocket launcher. They really don't make anti-heroes like Tony Montana, the Cuban exile turned cocaine baron, any more. And they don't make films like Brian De Palma's Scarface too often either. Insanely violent, impossibly gaudy - this is a film in love with both a decade - the have-everything-but-good-taste 1980s - and an absurdly decadent lifestyle. Don't pass up the chance to see Al Pacino on a 70 foot screen turning it all the way up to 11 and beyond. Prepare to say hello to "my leedle fren". Prepare to say hello to the bad guy.
