85. Belle De Jour (1967)
Catherine Deneuve caused a sex sensation in 1967, starring as a bored Parisian housewife who does the day shift at a local brothel to pass the time. The muse of Yves Saint Laurent, Deneuve was immaculately dressed in the film. Though scandalous at the time, Belle De Jour actually contains very little nudity, relying on Deneuve's alluring screen presence.

84. Fast Times At Ridgemont High (1982)
Hugely successful 80s high school sex comedy (a precursor to the American Pie series) with entertaining early performances from Sean Penn and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Of course, the students at Ridgemont High spend the majority of their time thinking about little other than how, with whom, when and where to get laid what else do teens do, after all? 83. Buddha Of Suburbia (1993)
The BBC found themselves in trouble with the Broadcasting Standards Council in the early 90s with this controversial drama about a young Asian man's search for sexual identity. The sexy moment that got them into trouble involved a six-minute orgy at the end of the third episode. The Sun's front page cried "Shame Of BBC's Porn Play" and then printed pictures of all the actresses nude in the name of decency.

82. Get Carter (1971)
Classic Brit gangster movie starring Michael Caine as the eminently quotable Jack Carter, who sets out to avenge the death of his brother, with gruesome results. Jack's been voted the biggest movie bastard of all time, a title that hasn't prevented plenty of women from falling for his dubious charms. There certainly is an intoxicating blend of sex and death in the film and, if Michael Caine is to be believed, it achieved a cinematic sex first its sexiest moment was the first screen portrayal of phone sex ever! And what a debut Britt Ekland pleasures herself as Carter talks dirty to her on the phone, while his landlady eavesdrops on the whole conversation.

81. To Catch A Thief (1955)
Stylish comedy thriller from Hitchcock, boasting one of the sexiest on-screen pairings in Hollywood history, Cary Grant (the charming cat burgler) and Grace Kelly (the spoiled heiress who falls in love with him). Sparks fly whenever these two share the screen, and their famously passionate kiss (against a cheeky backdrop of exploding fireworks) is still enough to put you in the mood for a few fireworks of your own.
