70. From Here To Eternity (1953)
Oscar-showered adaptation of James Jones' novel about military corruption, romance and boxing at an army camp on Hawaii, just prior to Pearl Harbor. Although the film toned down the language and sexual content of the novel, From Here To Eternity still caused controversy, mainly for the inclusion of its now-famous adulterous love scene on the beach between Burt Lancaster's First Sergeant Milton Warden and Deborah Kerr's Karen Holmes, wife of the military camp commander. The incredible sexual charge of the scene was heightened by the choice of Kerr who, until this point, had been the epitome of prim English womanhood.

69. The Hunger (1983)
Tony Scott's first film has been described as a softcore lesbian vampire movie. What's certainly true is that when vampire queen Catherine Deneuve and doctor Susan Sarandon get it on (Sarandon replaces David Bowie as Deneuve's lover) strong straight men (and lesbian women all over the world) have been known to go quiet and breathe funny.

68. The Mask (1994)
Energetic adaptation of the comic-book about a bank teller who goes "From zero to hero" with the aid of a magical mask. Jim Carrey and a slew of digital special effects provide the manic antics, while Cameron Diaz makes her first feature film appearance as Tina Carlyle, a super-sexy nightclub singer. In a film that's pretty much dominated by Carrey's constant tics and mugging, Diaz's sexy turn provides more than a little light relief, and her debut dance in the nightclub is certainly one to remember!

67. Saturday Night Fever (1977)
Classic 70s disco movie, with a star-making turn from John Travolta, that explores the simmering frustrations of youth to the most memorable of soundtracks. From the opening scene, featuring Travolta's cuban heels strutting down the sidewalk, this film oozes sex appeal. Sexiest moment of all? Big John preparing himself for a night on the town - the embodiment of hot disco totty.
