| Bill Murray |
|
Born 21 September 1950 in Wilmette, Illinois, Bill Murray attended an all-boys Jesuit
school before studying pre-med at Regis College, Denver - but after being caught in possession of marijuana his career in medicine was
over. Menial jobs followed before he joined Chicago's Second City improvisation group and appeared on The National Lampoon Radio Show.
He was hired to replace Chevy Chase on Saturday Night Live in 1977 and after appearing in some of the biggest grossing comedies of the
80s and 90s he has recently turned his attention to scene-stealing cameo performances. |

| Bing Crosby |
|
Born in Tacoma in 1903, one of seven children, Bing became one of the most successful
actors ever to appear in film. During the 40s and 50s, he was one of Hollywood's biggest stars and between 1944-49 he had the number
one box office spot. Bing is best remembered for his light-hearted comedy and musical films. After his debut in The Big Broadcast,
he appeared in such films as Going Hollywood, Road To Zanzibar and Morocco. Bing won an Academy Award for Best Actor in 1944 for his
performance in Going My Way. He also delivered powerful performances in films such as Little Boy Lost, The Country Girl and Man On Fire. |

| Brad Pitt |
|
Born in 1963 in Shawnee, Oklahoma but raised in Missouri, Brad Pitt studied journalism at
the University of Missouri and acting with Roy London. He appeared in 80s super soap Dallas before breaking into the movies with Thelma
And Louise, in a role for which he was the third choice. Blessed, sickeningly, with intelligence as well as looks, he has wisely stayed
away from star fodder, featuring instead in Se7en (1995) and Fight Club (1999). To top it all off, he's happily hitched to everyone's
favourite girl next door, Friends star Jennifer Aniston. |

| Brigitte Bardot |
|
Born in Paris in 1934, Bardot studied ballet as a child before becoming a model. Roger Vadim saw her in Elle, married her, and cast her in his 1956 directorial debut, Et Dieu... Crea La Femme . The film catapulted the phenomenally sexy Bardot to global fame, but being seen as the epitome of French sauciness didn't make her happy - her 26th birthday was celebrated with a botched suicide attempt. In the 60s she recorded a series of albums with the notorious Serge Gainsbourg - it was rumoured that on their recording of Je T'Aime... Moi Non Plus, her orgasmic gasps were not being faked. Bardot gave up cinema in 1975 and is now an animal rights activist. |
