National Lampoon's Animal House, 1978

Occasionally mooted as the John Belushi college biography that never was, Animal House is easily the Queen Bee of gross-out movies. Notting Hill, 1999

The Nutty Professor, 1963

Jerry Lewis is, quite simply, a wacky inventor who happens upon a formula that transforms his real self, a sad and loner-ish personality, into a ravenously handsome smooth operator out to woo the ladies. Lewis is a very effective adhesive between his Jekyll and Hyde characters, and many regard this as his finest work. Remade by Eddie Murphy in the 90s, this version holds a much warmer charm than its later counterpart.
