Your Chance To Become A Bollywood Star
Welcome to the official website for Bollywood Star, Channel 4's new series looking for the next Bollywood film star. Following a series of auditions, six people will be going to Bombay and the ultimate prize for the winner is a role in a new Bollywood production.
Applications for Bollywood Star are now closed. Many thanks to everyone who applied. Our UK auditions will take place at the ICC in Birmingham on the 6th and 7th December 2003 (see below for details).
Twenty people will be selected to go through to the grand final on January 18th 2004. The winners will fly to Bombay, all expenses paid, for the first two weeks in February 2004.
Bollywood Star Auditions
Your audition will involve you presenting a small piece to our expert panel. to find out full details of what the auditions will involve.
If you are attending the auditions, please for important notes about the day. It is vital that you read these notes prior to attending the auditions.
There will be two coaches travelling from London to the auditions in Birmingham on both Saturday and Sunday - please for details of this service.
Everyone who attends auditions will be filmed and could appear in one of the programmes for the Bollywood Star series, which will be aired on Channel 4 in the summer of 2004.
