You"ve been thinking about it for ages, "I could do better than that". Well now"s your chance. Time to stop thinking and start writing. Get that idea down on paper and it could be your first step to breaking into the highly competitive world of film.

The first year of the prize is well under way, with the six finalists' films in production. Once production is complete, all six will receive a national TV screening on Channel 4, as well as being shown on FilmFour and filmfour.com/orange. Each winner will then be put forward to compete for a £10,000 prize and the offer of developing a full length film with FilmFour.
