Character Profiles:
Lindsay (Vicky Hall): Fat and happy to be that
way, Lindsay is a biology teacher who just can’t be arsed.
She can out-blunt any of the lads, and despite her air of scepticism
she’s entertaining, sharp and has a positive, matter of fact
outlook on life.

She shares a flat with:
Penny (Tamzin Malleson) who still wants her own
way, is still annoying, self centred and prepared to use her not
entirely own breasts to help her get what she wants. But living
with Lindsay is knocking some of the edges off her – basically
because Lindsay won’t tolerate her excesses…

Bob (Lloyd McGuire) hasn’t had much luck
recently. He’s lost his wife, his home and now he’s
lost his job as Head of English to the younger, better looking and
more likeable Ewan. But gone is the old miserable, over-the-hill
Bob who thought that every ‘f***ing f***er’ had it in
for him. This is the new open-minded, youthful, laidback Bob looking
forward to a new job, a new hairpiece and a new wife. Wonder how
long that will all last…
Damien (Daon Broni) teaches Food Technology. He
lives with Ben and Ewan – but runs rings round them –
primarily because he’s a bit sharper than Ewan, and bit less
neurotic than Ben. He’s deeply sarcastic, takes great pleasure
in winding people up, and occasionally verges on the cruel, but
always gets away with it because, above all, he’s funny. He’s
slightly less than averagely successful with women – something
that frustrates him enormously. He really can’t understand
why Ewan always manages to pull and he doesn’t.

Biography here.
Ewan (Lee Williams) is the new Head of English.
He is good looking, positive, gullible and always trying to do the
right thing – though he quite often mucks it up en-route.
Ewan in his innocence can easily offend, but has an endearing quality
that allows him to get away with it. He is incredibly successful
with women, but has no idea why. In fact he’s never really
thought about it.

Ben (Mathew Horne) is the neurotic, atheist R.E.
teacher. Always the pessimist, he worries about how everyone else’s
traumas will affect him, while managing to talk himself out of every
opportunity that may come his way - after all, what’s the
point. It will only end in tears. But he is a likeable character
and his neuroses always manage to provide the others with no end
of entertainment and fun – especially Damien.

Clare (Gillian Bevan): Back as Head Teacher of
the new school, Clare is disappointed to find that Bob has also
returned. She wants Bob out and she’ll be watching his every
move, waiting for a reason to sack him. In the meantime she’s
arranged a few initiatives for everyone to get to know the new staff,
especially Ewan who Clare seems to have taken rather a shine to.
Liz (Ellen Thomas): With her surly daughter in
tow, Liz is as big a bitch as ever, making sure everyone knows that
she will be of no help to anyone what so ever. If only she could
put them in their place, especially Penny, it would make her day.
Carol (Ursula Holden Gill): She’s back as
Liz’s sidekick and still freaking everyone out with her odd
behaviour. But something’s different, she’s changed…
As well as a new baby to look after, she’s got a new attitude
– she hates everyone and everything from Xmas to old people.
No one is safe.
