Once again, Gillian has scoured the country to find more of Britain’s worst eaters to sample a taste of her unique tough-love approach to diet and nutrition. And this time she's got an even tougher job on her hands, as she meets individuals, couples and families whose weight and health are in an even worse state of crisis than before.
As well as meeting new volunteers, the new series will also include special episodes where Gillian will revisit volunteers from series one and see whether they have stuck to her advice or if they have fallen off the nutritional wagon and gone back to their old ways.
According to Gillian, food is behind some of our gravest problems – affecting everything from our general mood to our sexual health. You Are What You Eat reveals exactly how unhealthy poor diet and obesity are, and gives practical advice on changing a lifetime of bad habits. She will meet more of the people whose diets shock and horrify others and then take an up-close and very personal look at what their food is doing to their body - then she'll transform the way they eat and feel in just eight weeks.
