Without a Trace follows the work of a special task force assigned to find missing persons through advanced investigation techniques.
As well as boss Jack Malone, the squad includes the complicated Samantha Spade (Poppy Montgomery), compassionate Vivian Johnson (Marianne Jean-Baptiste), street-wise Danny Taylor (Enrique Murciano) and strait-laced Martin Fitzgerald (Eric Close).
Each of their investigations follows one simple rule: learn who the victim is in order to find out where the victim is.
Using a combination of painstaking reconstruction techniques and advanced psychological profiling the team seek to find out as much as they can about the missing person - and as quickly as possible.
