What type of picture do I need to enter the web competition?
This is very important. You need a digital image, saved in JPG format. It should be between 140-150 pixels wide, preferably portrait (tall) rather than landscape (wide) and a head or head and upper body shot (see the example pic on this page). If you send us an image that doesn't meet these criteria, it may end up looking rubbish when squeezed to fit on to the web site (and spoil your chances of getting votes).

How many pictures can I submit?
You're only allowed to have one picture at any time in the competition. If you try and submit another, our Producers will notice it in our system and block it.

How do I remove my picture?
Send an email to removephoto@channel4.com, stating the player name and our Producers will remove it.

Can I replace my picture with a new one?
Yes, you can. Just send an email to removephoto@channel4.com, stating your player name and our Producers will remove it. Once its been deleted from our system you can submit your new entry via the website. But remember, your score will be reset to zero!

How long does the competition go on for?
The prize competition starts when the Wife For William series airs for the first time on T4, and continues until the end of the series. We may decide to continue it beyond, but you'll have to wait and see! Obviously, the sooner you submit your pic, the sooner you will have a chance of winning.

What are the prizes?
The weekly prize for two winners will be a pair of Wife For William underpants, as seen in the trailers for the programme on E4 (and on the front page of this site). We stress that the underpants are brand new and have not been worn by anyone (especially not any member of the Royal Family). One or more of the winners may be invited on to T4 to be presented with their prize.

How do I vote?
You can choose to rate someone by how blue-blooded you feel they are, by clicking the number on the right of the picture (where 1 indicates that their blood is totally red and 10 indicates that their blood is totally blue). Your vote automatically contributes to their overall score and affects their title. Once you've voted a new picture is displayed for your next vote.

How do I vote for a particular player?
The short answer is you can't! That would be cheating! We've specifically designed the game to discourage people abusing it and voting on one player again and again. Each picture is served randomly, to give everyone a fair chance.

How do I win?
By getting the best average score that is based on the number of votes received and the rating you got for each vote. It's a combination of being lucky, gorgeous and truly regal. As your average score improves, so does your title. Good luck!
