A MILLION POUNDS, NINE CONTESTANTS, ONE BUNKER AND ONLY ONE WAY OUT...

Nine diverse contestants who have never met before are isolated in a specially designed underground bunker for Channel 4’s brand-new Unanimous, a gameshow where strategy, cunning and deviousness are everything. Cut off from the outside world, without clocks, windows or outside space, the group will have no idea whether it is day or night.

Their job is simple – they must decide unanimously which one of them deserves a cash prize of one million pounds. And as if reaching such a life-changing decision wasn’t difficult enough, to make matters worse the clock is ticking… if the contestants can’t reach a Unanimous decision, the prize money starts to count down – one pound every second they can’t decide.

The race is on for contestants to convince each other they are most worthy of winning. Some will stop at nothing. Following the first unsuccessful vote the group are forced to reveal some incendiary secrets to each other - the ramifications of which ripple through the bunker -resulting in one of the group becoming an outcast and therefore not eligible to win the money.

With the clock ticking down it's time for someone to take the lead and do some strategic thinking.

GAME RULES

The group must decide which one participant will win the money by a unanimous vote.

Periodically the participants will be required to come to the 'Inner Circle' to vote. Each of the nine participants has a 'voting sphere'. This sphere has the names of the other eight contestants in it. Participants cannot vote for themselves.

The participants will cast their votes which are then delivered to the host to reveal the group's decision. If the vote is not unanimous, the group may face a consequence of some kind.

Throughout the course of the game, the group will be required to choose a participant to 'outcast'. The outcasts are no longer eligible to win the money and must wear marked uniforms for the rest of their time in the bunker. However, their vote still counts.

Participants cannot strike a deal or collude to split the money between them.

Participants are free to leave the bunker at any time. If a participant does choose to leave, the prize money will be cut in half.
