Fate has other plans for Betty when Bradford Meade, the owner of the group, decides she's the perfect PA to keep his man-whore son, Daniel, focused on the job of running fashion bible, Mode Magazine, following the death of Editor-in-Chief, Fey Sommers.
The magazine is as catty as the fashion world, and Betty walks into the middle of a major bitchfest: Wilhelmina Slater, the passed-over Creative Director is scheming with a Mystery Woman to takeover the company, and the yearly Fabia spread gives her the perfect opportunity to take Daniel down.
Betty's first job is to win over her new boss, her new colleagues, get her boyfriend Walter back from street tramp Gina Gambarro and save the Fabia spread – not a bad week’s work for a girl from Queens.
