Betty and Daniel prove to be as resilient as her disappearing good luck charm when they try to cement their positions within Mode by taking control of 'The Book', which contains the all the mock-ups for the upcoming issue.
However Wilhelmina and the Mystery Woman have other ideas. They hand it over but 'accidentally' leave in all the un-retouched photos of hot young actress, Natalie Whitman. Not the sort of thing to be stolen, then.
Betty isn't the only victim of crime, as Fey's death doesn't appear to be all it seems, leaving Bradford to do a little breaking and entering of his own to tidy up some loose ends.
With the book missing, and the press going mad, Wilhelmina makes her move to save the day only to discover Betty's honesty has given Natalie the solution to all their problems. Now if only Daniel could work out who his mystery phone calls are from, everybody would be happy.
