Wednesday 16 April

This is my last diary entry so I would like to say thank you to all my fans, friends, Endemol, Channel 4 and mostly my family. All the people that have given me support.

I feel really sad that the show is ending but that is the way life goes. I feel that I have really improved my hairdressing since on this show. I'd like to thank Paul for that.

I am gonna have a break from hairdressing for a bit and try the music industry for a bit. So I hope to hear from everyone again. It has been good and it has gone quick, but everything has to come to an end. So I am gonna try my best so that you will see me again on your box at home.

Tuesday 15 April

I saw the most amazing girl today. This girl right, is how I want my girl to be. She was absolutely stunning. I could take her down the road and say yeah this is my woman.

So if any girls look like that could give me a call. You could get married to a girl like that. Don't want to talk about anything else.

Monday 14 April

The day went really slow. Maybe because it is our last week. Nothing really happened. But we had a laugh during the whole day.

As Justin Timerlake said, the show must go on. I would love to be in the 2nd series if it was possible.

Sunday 13 April

Great day today. My old teachers came into The Salon today which I was happy about. It was good to re-live the past again. I would like to thank Paul and Endemol for doing that.

Also at the end of the day I watched a video of me – my best moments. There was heavy Justin Timberlake music in the background – I’m gonna be the next Justin Timberlake.


Thursday 10 April

The last day of the week. Paul has set up a boxing match between me and Adee on the last day. I am gonna knock him out with one punch for all the times he has hit me. This is my opportunity to get him back. Watch out Adee.


Wednesday 9 April

The meal was great last night. I’d like to thank Paul for setting that up and treating us for a night. Everyone was mostly hung over. I think everyone is scared on what is gonna happen next week but I have an idea on what I’m gonna be doing.


Tuesday 8 April

We have the meal tonight which I am looking forward to. I’m gonna miss everyone when this finishes.

The day went well today. It wasn’t that busy. There was a Client that came in today that Sabrina done a manicure on. I met this girl in a bar on Friday. She came up to me and told me she was coming in and then she ran off. I thought pretty girl, why you run off for? I found she was too embarrassed. This girl is my type of girl – cute.


Monday 7 April

Today I had a Client which I was pleased about. This one was the best that I have done. I feel every week my confidence is improving. It is a shame I won’t be training in The Salon anymore from next week because of the show ending. Day was good – it is going so quick.


Sunday 6 April

John was given money for his hard work and got Employee of the Week. Me and Carina got a week’s graining in Vidal Sassoon which I was pleased about.

The weekend was great. Too many women but just can’t find the right one. I will though.


Thursday 3 April

Adee had the day off. So Paul had to do all his Clients. Paul was on fire. He was doing amazing cuts. The day was a mad one it was busy, too busy. Anyway looking forward to the weekend again. Here I come girls watch out.


Wednesday 2 April

What a night. I had a heavy time last night. The party was crazy. The morning was very busy. Everyone was running behind today which made it harder. Everyone was mostly tired from the night before.

Oh I went home with a girl.


Tuesday 1 April

This week has been good. At the moment it I the bachelor party tonight which I was not going to at first but then Paul persuaded me to go. The day went slow today. It’s slowing down every week. Paul gave me money for a cab tonight which I would like to thank Paul for that.


Monday 31 March

Today Ricardo quit his job. He read a speech out which I think was funny. Good luck for him in the future. Anyway I did a model today. It was probably the haircut I have done on the show. I feel that I am improving every week.


Sunday 30 March

What a weekend. It was my mate’s birthday and the strangest thing happened. Some girl didn’t leave me alone all night and she kept showing her tits to me every 5 mins. So I had to get the bouncer to get her off me. If she was fit then I wouldn’t of minded but she wasn’t.

Today was a great day. Ricardo wasn’t in because he was sick again. We had a lot of mums come in today because of Mother’s Day, which was nice.

A few fit women in today but we need more in. I want a fit blonde with not too big tits but nice size, nice legs, so if anyone is offering…


Thursday 27 March

We had our appraisals today. I was pleased with my result. Cobella described me and Carina as the best Juniors in Gt Britain which made me so happy.

Ricardo stayed in today. I give up on giving my view on that situation - it's a never ending story.


Wednesday 26 March

Today we had a Client come in and complain that he didn’t like his haircut that Ricardo gave him. So master Paul sorted his hair out – go on my son. There were a few buff women in today but they all seem taken. What’s going on in this world?


Tuesday 25 March

Today we had Beverly Cobella in – my inspiration in hairdressing. I love her. She was assessing all the team today which I think went well. We also had Shevata for Beauty. I work with her at Michael John – what a lovely lady she is and soon to become a mum. Well the day went well. This week has been a bit chilled which is nice.


Monday 24 March

A lovely day. My model this morning went really well. I was so pleased with the cut. First time I did that kind of style.


Sunday 23 March

Great day to start the week. Adee got Employee of the Week which I think he deserved. He works so hard.

Nothing really happened today. There was a bit of a row between Ricardo and Paul. I think Ricardo was being out of order, what he did. He is up for a public vote.


Thursday 20 March

Last day before the weekend. The day was busy as usual. Me and Jonathan went to football in the evening which was a laugh. The photo shoot went really well. Carina looked stunning. She is such a beautiful girl but it is such a shame because it was overlooked by what happened with Ricardo.


Wednesday 19 March

I was the only Junior in this morning because Carina is on lates every week now. The morning was good but in the afternoon it was so busy I didn’t have time for lunch until about 4:30. I was very depressed in the afternoon because my love life isn’t going too well.


Tuesday 18 March

Today was a very slow day. Nothing special happened today. The main thing that happened was the lights went out for about an hour. It was funny. Paul got AJ to hold a lamp for him because of his height. Then Paul and Adee started to work in the Colour room.


Sunday 16 March

The day was really good. AJ started today. What a funny character. He has such a dry sense of humour. Adee kept winding him up.

The Salon wasn’t as busy today as normal. Mel got Employee of the week again. She works so hard which is great.


Thursday 13 March

I had the quiz last night which was wicked. We didn't do well but we beat them on the dancefloor.

Today was really busy. I didn't have lunch until 4.00pm. I had the biggest lunch. I was bloody starving.

Carina got stressed, everyone was moaning. I don't blame her.

Monday 10 March

I had a model today which went really well. Paul had to interview people for Olly’s job. I saw a few fit girls which I though should get the job.

It was a good day. It went really quick. I can’t wait for the weekend again.


Sunday 9 March

It was a good weekend. We had Jonathan start today, what a geezer. He is a really nice bloke. I get on with him really well. Adee was feeling a bit sick today with a bad throat. Ricardo became employee of the week which I think he deserves.


Thursday 6 March

I was so tired from late night last night. The day was good. Sandra got kicked out today. It was very emotional. We had a party at the end of the day which was excellent. Paul chucked Sandra in the pool. I was in the sauna with Olly and the twins and only had a towel on until Sandra tried to strip me off.


Wednesday 5 March

I was on late night so I started at 3. I love having my lie in. The late night went really bad. Everything didn’t go well. There were two girls that must have had a manicure about 3 times, delaying Desmond’s time. That really got on my nerves.


Tuesday 4 March

The three were selected who were up for the vote (Sandra, Ricardo and Suzanne). It will be a very hard vote. I don’t want any of them to go but it’s the name of the game.

The day went well. The Salon has been very hot lately. It’s been giving me some crazy headaches. I need to take a packet of headache pills each day.


Monday 3 March

Today Paul told me that my contract is getting extended which I’m so pleased about. This is a great opportunity for me.

I did a model today which I was pleased about. She kept moving her bloody head so I had to concentrate on what I was doing. Also I had the worst headache of my life. None stop pain throughout the whole day. But the twins gave me a nice head massage in the Staff Room. They said I had a lot of tension in my head.


Sunday 2 March

Paul is back today. Sonja is sick again and so is Suzanne. The Salon is back to itself. I had a laugh today working with Paul.

We found out that three people will be up for eviction. One was selected already and that is Sandra but Olly had his contract terminated which was a shame because I got on with him.


Thursday 27 Feb

Last day of the week. I'm going out with Adee tonight to Stringfellows, which I'm looking forward to.

I had a surprise today, my mum came in for an appointment. I was so shocked. I would like to thank Head Office for doing that, I'm very pleased.


Wednesday 26 Feb

Today we had five dogs come in. Adee told the lady she is not allowed them in the salon.

Ricardo started at 3pm but didn't feel well. We had Desmond in today, what a guy, wicked haidresser. Classy...


Tuesday 25 Feb

As days go on, this week is becoming the maddest week of all. Sonja had another panic attack, so Adee sent her home. We were all trying to rearrange her clients. I hope she gets better, she is a lovely girl.


Monday 24 Feb

I had a client in today who had a big crush on me. I must have cut myself about five times. I was really please with my cut though.

I started to miss Paul a bit, it isn't the same without him. Sonja had a panic attack, which Adee handled perfectly.


Sunday 23 Feb 2003
Adee's first day as boss. It went really well but today we had five clients cancel which made him p****d off. Carina got a client off the street, which was a good idea.


Thursday 20 Feb

We had Page3 model Nicola T in today. She was stunning. I found out she lives near me. I got on very well with her but she was telling Mel I was trying to pull her last week in a bar in Croydon which I didn’t. I wouldn’t have. I was hoping I could have taken her out for a drink.


Wednesday 19 Feb

Great day today. Everyone was on a high. I started at 3 because I was doing the late night. I had a wonderful sleep in. The evening went well. We didn’t seem to have any problems – very professional evening.


Tuesday 18 Feb

The decision is coming near on who will take over as Manager for a week. I want Adee to get the job. I think with all his recent experience he will cope better than the others. The day went quick as every day. That is all to be said.


Monday 17 Feb

Today I had my first real model. It was bloody hard but I did well. I felt I could have done better. Anyway the day went well. Not a lot to talk about today.


Sunday 16 Feb

Back from the weekend. It was crazy when I went out on Friday night. I had a woman asking questions then taking a picture of me pulling some girl. So I tried to chase her – she got away.

Paul wasn’t too happy today because of what happened on Wednesday night. I don’t blame him – it was disgraceful.


Thursday 13 Feb

The day after Late Night so half The Salon was tired but it was buzzing. I find the last day of the week is a crazy one and today was. Everyone received Valentine’s except me. Didn’t bother me – the main thing is that I have my family there till I die. Today we had a couple in and the boyfriend proposed to his girlfriend. He was s******* himself but he did it and she said yes. It was a very touching moment.


Tuesday 11 Feb

The day after I had my arse waxed and it still hurts. The day went good. Today we had team building. That was the highlight on the day. I felt that it helped everyone. We all had a laugh as well. Adee didn’t want to take part in it first of all but then he did which made me happy.


Monday 10 Feb

Today was a crazy day. I had my backside waxed. Oh my God it f****** hurt. The twins and Sabrina did it. I can’t sit on my arse at the moment and it is as smooth as anything. I’m not having that done again. Ricardo walked in and was taking the p***.


Sunday 9 Feb

At the Staff Meeting Paul was pleased with our performance. He thinks we are improving a lot this week. Carina is employee of the week. She deserves it a lot – she works so hard. The day was good today – everyone is getting to know each other a bit and starting to work as a team which I’m pleased with.


Thursday 6 Feb

Last day of the week. What a day! I was so hyper, I couldn't stop moving. I was in a rush to do everything. I think I should take it easy on the Lucozade a bit.

The day went really well. Ricardo is being more pleasant to be around now. I think he's learned hi lesson. At the end of the day we found out that six weeks have been added on to the show. I was really pleased about that. I'm going to carry on with it!


Wednesday 5 Feb

Carina's birthday today. What a shock she had! They organised a stripper for her. While I was shampooing, the man went Full Monty! She had a good birthday though.

Today was good, a bit slow but everyone was a bit happier than yesterday.


Tuesday 4 Feb

Probably the worst day in here. Everyone was in a bad mood. I got told off by Paul in the morning, which p****d me off a lot. But I respect that man so much and look up to him because I want to be a hairdresser like him. The day did get better after having a meeting about cleaning at the end of the day.

Monday 3 Feb

We had Desmond Murray in today to do Afro hair. He is such a nice bloke and very talented, I learned a lot from him.

Ricardo was told to go home, so we had a John working today instead. What a character! My mum used to be his boss so I knew him already. I wish he could have stayed.


Sunday 2 Feb

The day of the show. The models turned up as soon as The Salon opened. We started on them as soon as they were there. It was such a fun day. To be part of something like that was amazing.

In the evening it was excellent. There were girls, girls and girls! The food was wicked but nothing could have beaten the amount of foxy women.


Thursday 30 Jan

Today Ricardo became a Junior. It was a fun day. It was very busy because three stylists had more Clients than they normally would, but the day went really quickly. The best bit of the day was when Ricardo went into the Spa.


Wednesday 29 Jan

Today started really bad. Just didn’t want to be there today but as the day went on it got better. We had the models in today for the show. It was such a laugh, it was good to be involved in an event like this. The models looked great with the clothes they tried on.

Tomorrow should be a good day when Ricardo becomes a Junior.


Tuesday 28 Jan

Last night someone told me what Ricardo said about me. That he told Paul that I don't help him enough and that I don't work hard. My response is that I don't take any notice of what he says. I know my job and I do it to the best of my ability. If Paul says I'm doing my job good or bad then I will listen to him because he's my boss. I don't care what Ricardo thinks. I'm not gonna make a big fuss.


Monday 27 Jan

It was training day today. I did the same cut that I did last week. It went well again.

Today I had a chat to Sandra about women. It was very funny. She was giving me some pointers.

I was tired again today. I think I need to go to bed earlier now. I don't seem to have any problems at the moment.


Sunday 26 Jan

First day back after the weekend. Most people were tired. It was as busy as last week.

We had the staff meeting in the morning which went well. I think Paul gave everyone a scare after saying he isn't scared of sacking anyone.


Thursday 23 Jan

The days go so fast in The Salon. The day before the weekend and I'm ready. The day went good as it was busy. Everyone was preparing for the dinner at Sandra's mum's restaurant tonight.


Wednesday 22 Jan

Today went really well. I was communicating the everyone really well. I had a good chat to Ricardo about things which I enjoyed. Everyone seemed really relaxed.

I was helping Sonja a lot today which I like a lot. She is a very good hairdresser.

The lowest point of the day was that I stained my shirt with colour which I can't get out.


Tuesday 21 Jan

Today everyone seemed really tired. I would say this was my most boring day I have had. When it hit 10 o'clock I was so tired I couldn't stop yawning. It wasn't good. In the late afternoon I was starting to feel dizzy but the day went really quickly.
