Thursday 17 April
Last day – no way! Finito to what a fab experience. I just can’t believe it’s come to an end. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything – the ups and downs. I feel it’s made me a better person. Yesterday seeing my best bits was great. I’ve been part of something good and I’m proud. A lot of people may not understand it but unless you’ve done it it’s hard to explain.
I’m gonna miss everyone so much, especially Paul, Suzanne, sweet Mel, mad Adee, Carina, little Vassos, Sonja, my star John, AJ my sidekick and of course the lovely Jonathan. They’ve been my rocks and stones and we’ve supported and cared for each other. I’m sure we’ll keep in touch and hope we all go on to better things whatever we may choose. Thinking of Sandra, Olly and Ricardo.
Thank you to everyone out there again for your support and participation. Meet again – you never know. Love to you all.
I just wanna say how each and every one of them in there are unique and have an amazing talent, not only in their trade which they will be stars in their own right. You all hold a special place in my heart.
What a shock! It’s surely been my week. What an end to a fantastic time. I am feeling so mixed with emotion – sad and happy. Weird to think all of this has come to an end. Here’s back to reality. To win overall Employee of the Series has been an honour. Thank you Paul. I love ya. £3,000 - I’ve never got or won anything like that in my life! And his reasons for really touched me. I don’t know what to say… I’m on top of the world! The End.

Happy Birthday to me! What a fabulous, fantastic, overwhelming and fantastic day, afternoon and evening. I haven’t had a birthday like this ever! Mad. No-one’s ever planned and surprised me like I’ve been today.
Kicked off this morning with Sonja and AJ falling for the fancy dress joke – bless em. The weather was absolutely beautiful! We all walked in together as they were pottering around The Salon – how funny!
Saw my day looked pretty cool until 2:30pm. I was staring then Paul shouted at me – I thought no, what now! Saw this huge, huge gold box and who pops out, the gorgeous, beautiful and sweet Alex Thorne. I couldn’t believe it. Was so nervous and so embarrassed. He is absolutely fine and his personality is tops!
Paul surprised me even more with the afternoon off. How sweet – no-one’s had that plus clothes to change into and little extras – flowers, champagne and strawberries – pure bliss. What more could a girl want than pressies and a fit lad.
I just was so embarrassed only later to be shocked by my mum and Auntie Dee arriving in The Salon. It was toooo much! But a brilliant surprise! All the guys gave me cards – thank you. My mum had a treatment with Suzanne and Dee had her hair done with my John. I just want to say thank you so much to Pablo and Head Office. I had a fab 27th.
Didn’t end there. Tonight was fantastic. Everyone was there and guess who joined me?!!! Yes Yes Yes – loved it! xxxxx
Tuesday 15 April
The Beauty Awards were naff! When we finally arrived, what a disappointment. Everyone looked fab. The Playboys were there – Adee and Paul, funny. Ended up in a little club - can’t remember.
Hungover all day - not good. Alcohol just doesn’t agree with me. I felt awful but I couldn’t let myself down. I’ve not been off yet.
Had a nice day. Some lovely Clients. I am sad it’s ending cause I’m gonna miss everyone!
Did the web chat tonight – over 800 people – wow! That’s fantastic. Thanks to you all. How great are ya for watching and supporting. To everyone who’s written in – love you all and to those who supported each of us – especially the ones that have stuck up for me. xx
Tonight’s tapes were on Suzanne and Sonja. Funny but Suzanne didn’t see the funny side – bless her. She feels she came over as a moan.

Looking forward to the Beauty Awards tonight. Our last Monday :-( Kicked off with training with AJ – we had a David Beckham lookalike in. Glimpsed from a distance he looked spot on. I love DB! As he got nearer it wasn’t him – you just know and then when I saw the dress sense, defo not! You should of seen me. It was funny. I got so excited. The day went well. AJ enjoyed it as he loves DB too.
My highlight was the legendary Gloria Gaynor. To do her nails was a pleasure, but hard work. Loved it and her! “I Will Survive”.
Finished today with a meeting and another two highlights – John and Carina – excellent. What can I say. xx
Sunday 13 April
Last week commences! I was in a great mood today. Felt really happy yet deep down sad when I thought about how our final week has definitely arrived. It’s been so mad the whole experience, the laughter, the moans and groans, friction, tension and good friendships that have been made in a place that I would never have called home! Mad! My feelings deep down are mixed.
I had some excellent people in – what a normal day! Howard you were cool! The mad Pablo fan from Aberdeen – you were cool.
AJ worked fab today. We ended tonight with a little Big Brother feel with Vass’s and AJ’s best moments. They were fantastic! I was a little emotional but happy as they did it so well. Paul’s sweet with the pressies – funny.
Felt awful when I saw Adee today with his black eye. What a shame. He may not be able to work for the rest of the week (sad). It was mad without our Carina – missed her. I know I’m gonna miss em all . It’s weird – can’t explain – 4 days to go!
Johnny got Employee of the Week. Poor Suzanne she’s been dying for it but she’s cool!
Tonight me and Johnny went for an Indian. Mel went to see a friend from Wales. Hi Bavin – thanks for the drinks. It’s nice to see I have a fan after this roller coaster ride. xxx
Thursday 10 April
Woke up bright and breezy – couldn’t believe that on 2 hours sleep! No love. Felt fine until the day started to progress. I don’t usually suffer with hangovers but I was fragile. Wished upon an easy day until John the ‘Scary Godmother’ came in and trust him to be my next set of acrylics. 500 piercings on a 73 year old man. I haven’t seen anything like it in all my life. His face was painted like a clown – very bright – and my head was even more fragile! But I must say very interesting and very nice. But the packet hanging down with piercings bulging out revolted me. I don’t get it. His nails were ok.
The rest of my day went slow! A surprise for Suzanne’s birthday was organised. Frankie Dettori came in. She was chuffed and her cake was great. Had a right giggle though as I couldn’t be bothered today. But AJ is never around when I need him. I thought he was our Beauty Assistant! Anyway I’m not saying anything anymore. Get myself into trouble with my big mouth. People take me the wrong way so I can’t be bothered with 1 week to go. Let’s go out with a bang and high as Pablo highlighted tonight in a meeting. It’s hard when your mind is troubled though. I think he should give us an overall prize for Employee – a nice fat lump sum! Put a little bit of a BB feel as they’ve got to put the show to an end somehow?! I wonder – anyway off out again for Suzanne’s birthday. Just a thought forget it.
I’m still waiting for my Employee of the Week thing as Paul’s meant to change it! God I get nowhere with him! Conveniently forgot my wage increase to match Suzanne’s and I’m supposed to be positive!
Wednesday 9 April
3pm start as I was doing the late night. I was all geared up and positive as I was working until 12pm. Intense as I had nails, nails, nails. Not complaining but no-one realises how intense and hands on the job really is! Especially if people aren’t appreciating them on this show cos you know when a Client comes to you they’ve either been recommended or are aware of cost etc. As it’s TV it’s different!
I was faced with nasty emails. I couldn’t believe the way people can be so cruel! It did really affect me today without realising. Normally I wouldn’t care but I thought f*** off! If you ain’t got anything nice don’t say it. I was aware of my actions and explained to AJ but teaching is something personal and firstly the student has to want to learn. Anyway I’m not going into it! Paul mentioned to me I was little OTT. I’ve taken it on the chin despite PMT but patience wears thin. Sometimes our lovely AJ needs to show a little more enthusiasm and response. Anyway he was meant to be qualified.
Soon 7pm came and we went into night mode. I was dubious but looking forward to it! Jonathan was Manager. Adee was very quiet. It was a twin night. Summary – night boring, people lovely, fans Petra and Brandy, fun Sophie from RI:SE, worked hard, non-stop. There was no atmosphere. Prefer it in the day. I was so tired.
Meant to be going out and we did. Myself, John and Johnny went out, Adee ended up at Chinawhites and Carina went home. Even though John had to literally shout at me to go out I had a ball. The lovely Stephen and I danced all night – what a fab mover. He was sweet! Suzanne ended up meeting us.
Monday 8 April
Felt on form, had a great night’s sleep! Still a bit achy but I can disguise that! Looking forward to tonight. Going out with the gang.
I had a really nice day. My Clients were absolutely lovely. The lovely Hazel and interesting Paul for his facial (Chinese Astrologer). Then the sweet Charlotte, who Paul and I tried to pair off with Vass. Didn’t work - sorry if we embarrassed you!
John was in tired mode today. Couldn’t glitz it up but he tried bless. Didn’t see much of Suzanne, only in passing, and her leaving the manicure table a mess. What’s new, and then going to her next treatment bless. I think she’s had enough. We all had a good little buzz going on, better than yesterday.
I thought Adee was coming tonight. Carina said he wouldn’t. I thought he just might surprise us and mingle but he didn’t as usual!
Desmond was in today covering Sonja. He’s a scream – nice guy. I could have killed him for bringing up the little argument me and Sandra had last week – it was minor. We’re cool, it’s just one of those things and he brought it up – silly man. Anyway not an issue.
Had my hair blown straight by Desmond – he’s good. John did Suzanne’s so that was a nice treat allowed by Pablo – thank you xx
We all ended up in Waterloo, had drinks then went to a Polish restaurant. Gorgeous – the food was great! We had a cool night. Sonja joined us which was a surprise. This morning she went to a hypnotist and feels on top of the world!
Desmond and his lovely girlfriend joined us. Mel and Johnny were snogging most of the time. Nice but common guys, time out! Vass was trying to get the results of the footy. Bless him, Man U lost. John perked up and ended up going out to a club dropping Suzanne on his way, Myself, Pablo, Carina, Vass, Johnny and Mel were the last ones in the place. Ended up carrying on the night!
Great not in till 3pm tomorrow. I’m doing the late night ! Well I’m sure it will be an experience before I leave! Adee’s not manager – it’s Johnny! Ooooh xxx
Monday 7 April
Everyone was in except for poor Sonja. Her panic attacks came back yesterday, bless, so she’s probably taking it easy.
Adee was in a delightful mood –ooh I love that word. Training with AJ this morning was certainly an experience. He did well considering the time pressure and situation. He’s a hard one cause you cannot read his expressions! It’s mad! But he’s cool, so you dunno whether he’s enjoying it or not – yah!
I had great Clients in especially the lovely Juliette – what a lady. I hope you liked your nails!
I felt a little ill tonight. It was getting worse. I felt like crap and I looked it – I couldn’t even do my last treatment. Thanks AJ for helping. I hope I’m not catching the flu!! :(
We’re all meant to be going out tomorrow night on Paul (bless) and on Weds Suzanne wants to go to Chinawhites for her birthday. I need to be well. Glitzie as John would say. :)
Sunday 6 April
Back to work! Had a fantastic weekend, weather’s been great. What’s happened tonight? Freezing!
Had a good day. Kicked off with the usual meeting. Only 9 days left! Mad. Paul gave John Employee of the Week and the glitzy babe won money for the best feedback etc – nice one! Felt a bit gutted that in his meeting he went on about hair, hair and hair! There was no mention of anything and our progress as far as Beauty and Nails. I’ve given up caring.
Anyway no Suzanne or AJ today so I was on my own! I had a really busy day – I’m getting tired now. Things are playing on my mind about my future and I’m feeling a little sensitive at the moment. Don’t know why?! I also feel fobbed off as Paul, no matter how much I love him to bits, has totally fobbed me off in the wage situation etc. Never mind. He’s still cool and I know it’s not a proper Salon no matter how much we tried to believe it! I hope I leave with a good rep!
I had a mad one in today, Rev Diane – an intersex person. How she educated me while I waxed her– very interesting. The best was tonight with the lovely twins Eve and Emma. They were an absolute delight. I surprised myself doing a double mud wrap. It went well! Anyway see you now!

I cannot believe time is going so fast!
No Adee today, Paul seemed to be chocca with clients. Got told off about two people in the back room.
Did lots of nails today. It's great to be known now for my nails and extensions. My surprise today was the fabulous one and only Boy George! He brought us tickets to Taboo for tonight, I was made up! He was camp and dry, loved him. I did a manicure and really tried to compliment the nail colour to the fab make up.
The day seemed long and ran over. Didn't get to have tonights meeting. Wonder what Paul has to say? Anyway, it's the weekend!

FAB, FAB day. AJ's birthday, happy birthday to him.
My highlight was when Julie Goodyear came in. What a legend. I grew up with Bet from the Rover's Return and had the pleasure of doing this glitzy woman's nails. What a down to earth lady - I loved her! It was a surprise for AJ for his birthday as he is a lover of soaps - as I am! It felt like she was there all day making herself at home.
I must say I was ready to flake today, how tired? Julie kept us all going.
Monday 31 March
Hello – what a day! It was too nice to be in work. Walked into work with Melsy. I love her to bits. She’s confessed that she’s falling Johnny – bless her!
Before the day kicked off I needed to speak to Pablo. I got all nervous, but said that I needed to speak as I couldn’t carry on all happily with my work when my mind and heart is troubled. He said for me not to worry and he’s waiting for Head Office. I don’t get it so therefore he’ll talk to me later…later never came.
Ricardo made a major announcement this morning that he’s resigned. I couldn’t believe it. He read out an essay that he wrote – spelling out his feelings and then went! It was so mad! I didn’t know what to say – I could see it happening after the week he had, plus the fact that he was to do training but I didn’t think he’d quit. It would have been great for him to prove his skill and show Paul, but no. It’s a shame and I know a lot of viewers are gonna be sad, as he was a big part of The Salon! Anyway leaving us in a situation I helped re-organise the schedule until Jonathan came in. He went to the Doctor’s, the poor lad’s ill. Even though John cleaned him today, teasing him about not having influenza but a cold –ha!
We all sailed through the day well. Adee didn’t turn up either – I think he went to hospital – for what? Dunno. Him and Paul went to the cage fight thing last night to see my gorgeous hunk Alex Thorne. Apparently he won but he got beaten up terribly. Maybe he can come in again and have a few treatments – I’ll nurse him better!
I had Emma Jones’s sister in today – Sally Ann. She was in a big write up today about all the plastic surgery she’s had and will be the first person in the UK to pump up her G-spot. Can you believe it! She seemed so shy and giggly – oh well.
Had some lovely Clients in for nails and the sweet granddad Dave for a massage. A bit of a debatable end when we had a meeting. Suzanne aired her views about things. She’s funny.
Anyway I’m looking forward to this bachelor party that we’ve been invited to tomorrow, if I can be bothered to go the way I’m feeling! Bye xxx

Mother’s Day! Happy Mummy’s Day to my mummy who I miss dearly – love you lots and lots xx
Got in and found out no Paul until 12. Everyone got on with it. Saw my schedule and thought “no love” as John would say! Jade Goody at 10:30am – Oh my God. Her mum Jackie came in – what a scream, so down to earth and as for Jade, who was 20 mins late, she was absolutely hilarious! Loved her. I hope she liked her nails! They did look pretty wicked. Anyway she wanted my number – we’ll see...
The day trucked on – I was dying to talk to Paul. He told me to speak to him on Monday as he knew what it was about – psychic?! He seemed distant!
Ricardo didn’t turn up for work! It was a main topic.
Surprises came later this afternoon for Sonja, Mel and Jonathan when their mums came in! How lovely. I felt dead emotional – just made me miss my mum! What an idiot I am. I was made up for them! It was funny as we were teasing Mel and Johnny about meeting the parents – ha ha! Poor Johnny was really unwell today but still trucked along with his shades on - conjunctivitis.
AJ is doing really well – I love his style. John and Adee, The Salon’s comics, made us giggle. Got themselves into trouble for overstepping the mark with the language and behaviour – bless.
Tonight Paul had a meeting with Ricardo. He came in for a private one with Paul – God knows what about. After he didn’t seem too happy that he may have to do some training with Sonja to prove to Paul their skill! And they too are getting paid more! What’s going on?
Carina and Vass got Employee of the Week – they deserve it, such hardworking guys who adapt and adopt to everyone and everything. Adee was chuffed with his pressie from Paul – lifetime membership to strip club! Jealous of them as they both are going to see fit Alex Thorne cage fight tonight – I wanted to go! Remember the Hollyoaks fella.
Anyway clocks gone forward- lighter nights. Summer’s hopefully here so, night xxx Here’s to tomorrow! By the way I had lovely Clients in – Antoinette and Shirley (Mel’s mum) – little sweeties.

This morning we had appraisal with a psychologist, secret shopper and experts. Everyone was on form. Felt sorry for Ricardo as his results were coming through about the vote, plus he had to listen to a negative appraisal.
Mine was OK. I think she harped on a bit about one treatment that I've had years of experience in and didn't say anything about my interaction with clients and staff. The secret shopper went on about me coming out of myself.
God, if they knew me they would know I'm a bit loud and direct, if I came out any more I'd be out the door! Shevita did say she was proud of us and we were doing a good job.The day's schedule was as busy as ever. Had some great clients in and laughed with John. I'm so glad he's there. He got a fab appraisal!
Ricardo's results came through. I knew it - they voted him in! Relief that there was no tears but the meeting was just focused on him and Paul arguing, then Adee interjected as usual. We all sat there like lemons.
Paul shocked us by saying he was about to resign, so for the next 3 weeks he has 100% total control (about time).
Tonight we went for a few drinks. Me and Suzanne had a bit of a serious convo that left me totally confused as if I missed something and felt like a right idiot! She told me about her meeting with Paul about wages. She thought I knew - knew what?!
I then found out about her dealings and negotiations. She got what she wanted and is getting paid £200 more than me! What the hell's going on? I seriously didn't know and I feel like s**t. I can't believe I've been played for a fool. I trust Paul and respect him as my manager.
Suzanne is by no means above me in there, she's my equal. I am an all-rounder so I just don't get it. I need to speak to him but I'm nervous cause I hate confrontation and dealing with stuff like this - I HATE it, but I'm not going to be made a fool of! Good on her for fighting for what she wanted, but is that what you have to do to be played fair? The psychologist was right about Suzanne taking control, she turned it around and Paul gave in basically - thanks a lot!!
To be really honest it doesn't even boil down to the money, but the principle. I'm just coming over as such a moan as I'm trying to do my job but being slated for thinghs I don't understand. All I've ever wanted to do is change the uniforms, I've never taken advantage. I don't get it - it's one rule for one, and not the other - why?!

What a day – madness but great. I actually enjoyed it! I was busy but proactive. It was great to have Beverly Cobella and Shavata Singh in. 2 professionals in our industry who are assisting Paul on his appraisals – great!! *@ Shavata sat in on my wax treatment on Andy. I felt like I was in a Beauty exam. I think she is so nice. We had lovely Clients in.
John as usual his wacky glitzy self. I love that man! Paul seems very relaxed and in tune with us all. It was nice for him to actually sit with us in the morning like he was one of us! It was cool. I think our team is so cool! No matter what! It would be a shame to see Ricardo go. I felt bad that we all had to do a vote for him to stay in or out due to the circumstance. I thought I was on Big Sister not Big Brother! Anyway the day ended with a meeting: 7 of us voted him in and 3 out. Now he feels paranoid bless him.
Tonight we had a scream. 8 of us went out into Camden for dinner. I’m quickly writing this as I go to bed (2:30am). John, myself, Suzanne, Mel, Sonja, my friend Stefan and Diane and ohhhh yes the lovely Dean – John’s chap he pulled on Monday night. He was a babe! Could this be another romance xx We’ll tease John tomorrow like he does me – calling me moustasha – thanks babe!
Monday 24 March
What a beautiful morning. The weather is fabulous! Came to work with Mel and Jonathan and felt like a gooseberry as they held hands on our train (so sweet). Johnny feels like an 18yr old – bless him and Mel’s all giggly. They make a really nice couple.
Great getting back into The Salon until I looked at the hectic schedule. Plus I had training with AJ. I was totally unprepared plus we had people flocking into the Spa at 10:30. Suzanne had Clients in so no cover. It was mad! I felt a bit crap, as everything was untidy, no towels and Clients were coming in – nice start! For a new week I tried to catch up on yesterday’s antics.
Good to see Ricardo in. I had some lovely Clients in. I think my second to last was a plant. I don’t know why but I found out tonight Paul’s setting us up! For some appraisal thing. She was just different, I don’t know. I hope she enjoyed her treatment. I left her with her coffee and for her nails to dry, by the time I returned she went!?
My last lady was Ms Kimberly – what a gal. It was cool to do a tranny – I loved it. Her nails were to die for! I finished my day giving Lord Paul a mini pedicure. He sprawled on the lounger in the Spa, bless him, talking to a Client while I finished painting a stripe on his nail (my idea) – ha. He carries anything off.
AJ worked very hard today. I hope he’s enjoying it. He didn’t seem too well so I hope he’s ok. As for my Suzanne she was made up with her new non-surgical face lift machine. John tormented me as usual – I suppose it was nice to be back! But the Nail and Beauty Show yesterday was wicked – I saw Olly! xxx

Had a great day! It was generally quiet. Gave us all a chance to intermix and have a bit of a laugh. It was exciting as we had Anthony Mascolo and the Toni and Guy team in to do a full photo shoot for a major hair mag. Paul did Carina’s hair and John did the colour. Carina looked fab. She’s gonna well make it as a model!
I had some lovely Clients in. The Spa was out of order as last night’s shenanigans went wrong.
The low point of the day was when Ricardo, after doing his Client, got called into Paul’s office. A situation occurred about him looking into a Client’s bags. I know he was messing and probably thought it was funny at the time cause that’s Ricardo. He doesn’t think sometimes. I felt awful for him as he didn’t mean it. On a professional matter Paul obviously had to a react to emails he received, therefore he was suspended till Sunday. Ricardo looked sad and especially on a day like this, when his old bosses were in – embarrassing. He left The Salon very upset. I wonder what’s gonna happen.
I’m off on Sunday as I’m going to the big Nail and Beauty show in Olympia. It’ll be weird not going in as I’ve never taken time off or been sick!
Had a laugh with John – what a cool person. I love him. He really understands me and doesn’t judge. Felt a bit gutted when I heard I was being slated on the net but now I don’t care.
AJ’s doing really well – what a nice guy. Suzanne (my partner in crime) makes me laugh. She helped me out today and vice versa, as I was feeling a little dodgy – team work eh!
There is definitely romance building up between the lovely Mel and Jonathan – how sweet! We ended the day messing. Anthony took pictures of us all and a team one of The Salon. Time’s ticking and it’ll all soon be over, this whole mad experience. I felt quite sad as all those people that have been thrown together and have built up relationships and work well together will soon have to depart as Paul highlighted tonight! So here’s to the next four weeks! xxx

Wednesday 19 March
Wednesday already – half of us were in as the late night’s going on tonight. It’s very calm and tranquil on Wed mornings – quite relaxed. AJ and Suzanne got stuck in on the Beauty side and Spa while I got on with my first Client - Ms Dominatrix – she was cool in a weird way. Her friend Lorraine was with Paul having a transformation on her hair. It looked great. My lady told me more about her world – how interesting. I mean people or men pay for this – funny!
Had mostly nails all day. Had great Clients. My last one Mr Paulie Paulie - I was dreading doing him. I felt a little intimidated and in no mood to contend with such a character like I normally could. I felt a little horrible this afternoon as my monthly woman thing dawned on me – great! The fact I had to do a bottom and bikini wax on him too was putting me off. Until…I got in the Beauty room. I had such a scream he was hilarious. I tell ya, like I’ve said, nothing and no-one surprises me… I think! His motto was no drugs, smoking or partying except for orgasms! Well what do you say to that! Him and his wife Naomi have an open relationship – I don’t get it and she’s expecting their first baby! No comment.
AJ helped me out. He was great. Got teased by John about last night’s show and me being bossy. Paul said I came over good – oh who cares. You can’t be perfect all the time (ha ha)! Then Paul was teasing me about fancying Jonathan. I think he’s got it wrong. It’s Jonathan that fancies Mel! Bless him – they’d make a cute couple. Mind you he was looking good today!
Tonight I met up with Sandra and our friend Karl. She’s looking good and doing well. xxx
Tuesday 18 March
Felt great! Don't know about looking great, having straight hair is weird, don't know if it suits me. I want more colour!
Got in nice and early, AJ was on the ball. Still needs to be a little aware of the little things. We only have 4 weeks left!
My day was back to back as usual. Kicked off this morning with one of my favourite treatments, a mudwrap on Richard - he was a nice man. AJ assisted or followed me around. Every time I turned around he was towering over me - bless him. He's doing really well, he works hard and doesn't stop! His way is quiet but very witty. I like him a lot.
After, I had a funny self-tan on Julie. Very down to earth, dizzy lady - she'll probably admit it herself. She came in with her 63 year-old husband, who looked great. He was double her age!
Ricardo managed to tell me about the banter he had with Suzanne this morning, which I already got word of from Suzanne. I didn't think it was a big deal. She mentioned his name when negotiating her wage, only to get her point across. Anyway, I think they've sorted it now.
We had a very interesting afternoon. All the lights went off in the Salon - disaster. We all carried on professionally and had a right laugh. Adee and Paul ended up cutting in the Colouring Room, I painted my client's nails in the Changing Room and started my next set of nails in the Staff Room. So it all worked well, no fuss/bother.
Soon the lights came on. Thought it would be funny to leave Adee and Paul in there for another half an hour!
My next client, Josephine, was a scream. She was meeting Prince Charles tomorrow and my nails are going to be touched by royalty. What a girl, she looked like a vamp chick and makes designer bodices - I want one!
Everyone worked well together today, I think we realise time is running out ao let's enjoy and make the best of it, but you can't lose sight that it's our job to get things done properly!
I think a bit of romance is steaming up, from what I hear, between the lovely Jonathan and Mel - could this be true?
Monday 17 March
Didn't think today was gonna end, I was feeling so tired! I had back to back treatments and at times felt irritable. John being there brightened up my day totally.
Bless AJ, I know he's got a lot to learn and needs to find his feet but he's a little slow - or is that just his way? It's at times like this that you have to justify your moods and actions cause it's just like starting from the beginning. Frustrating, but I guess that's life. Never mind. The lad is sweet, very inoffensive and is willing to learn.
You've got to laugh, the team seems so different. It's good, obviously there's more of a mix now with new and old.
Had some nice clients in, especially the lady who totally brightened my day. She had her leg amputated at the age of 31. What a girl, I admire her positivity and bubbliness. Thank you for making me realise that life's not too bad.
Last night there was a shabang at my hotel, John was there with his mate, Vass, a pretty drag queen (I think we all need to set Ricardo up), Suzanne's posse, Jonathan and Ali (Jon's mate). John entertained us til all hours - what a queen! I need an EARLY night - seriously.
Hope AJ didn't think I was a bossy cow, even though I am! I'm just a perfectionist and like things right. Oh well, he'll get over it. I mist say there were a few laughs today, especially Adee - teasing poor Jonathan's height.
It's probably not easy coming into an established team but we've been welcoming too. Adee had a crack at AJ's height too - we all did! It's ironic how Paul's picked two new members and they are completely the opposite - literally.
Sunday 16 March
I had a wicked weekend! As soon as I went I’ve come back. Anyway it was great seeing the family, especially mum and dad. Looked at my schedule – pretty chocca day! It was great as my 1 o’clock manicure was Suzanne’s mum. Endemol sorted it for her to have a real surprise – she did!
My day had a heart raising start – a tall, dark handsome man – Alex Thorne – who? Well yeah, Mr Bad Boy from Hollyoaks – how gorgeous. My nerves got the better of me. He was a lovely guy and really sweet. We chatted. I hope he enjoyed his treatment as he got his hair done with Adee – he looked fit!
The day was great. Our new Junior Alfred was the man – I knew it! Won the bet with Jonathan. Anyhow great news this morning, John’s gonna be starting full time as from tomorrow. I’m so happy he’s an absolute babe!
I must say I had a fab day – signed my contract. It worries me that Paul will up Suzanne’s wage as she has been persistent to up it whereas me, as usual an idiot, never negotiates. So I wonder!?
My last Client Kerris was a right laugh. Thanks for my pressie! She hates her feet! I hope she gets over he phobia. I’ll go now dreaming of the gorgeous Alex Thorne!

Last day – nice one. Couldn’t wait to go home. My day was pretty busy. Had a challenge set by Paul for all of is to customise our red noses! Believe it or not I won! Ha ha!
Our last trial Junior came in today. A bit lazy but nice. Suzanne was off – the twins were in. Jonathan was on his last day bless him – he got through! I’m sure he’s gonna do well!
The day dragged. Tiredness was setting in from the night before. The thought of 4 hours on the train I wasn’t looking forward to. Anyway – wonder who will be the Junior Sunday.
I must say we did well for Red Nose day. Adee got his eyebrow waxed for £1000 and Paul got his chest and armpits done for £2000. I had a laugh doing that. Plus with the extensions Carina and Mel promoted and me with the Red Nose nail I invented – went down a treat. Anyway here’s to next week. xx
Wednesday 12 March
Tonight was on my mind a little – Celebrity quiz night that members of The Salon were chosen for. It was Suzanne, me, Vass, Sonja and Mel. So I was looking forward to that!
Got in and it was quiet this morning. I love Wednesday cause The Salon always feels calmer. I thought Ricardo was in so I hid his picture (Employee of the Week) for a laugh. Gutted he wasn’t in until later!
I had a great day. All nails as we had an alternative therapist in Kinesiology – interesting. All my ladies were fab, fab, fab. Did lots of Red Nose nails. My greatest surprise today was Colin coming into The Salon. Thanks Paul, he’s a model, lovely guy.
My memorable lady was Madame Cynthia Payne – the legendary Madame of the brothel in the 60’s to 80’s. She got jailed for 4 months and fined. She’s 70 now – what an interesting woman, fighting to get prostitution and brothels legalised in the UK. She had me intrigued.
Our third Junior was in today - Alfred, or AJ as he like to be known. Bless him, what an oddy type person in a nice way. I mean unique! He seemed far too quiet for me yet I’m sure he would be good. One day isn’t enough to test people. We’ll see.
Late night tonight so the guys prepared me and the guys got ready quick to go to our celebrity bash. What a night, WHAT A NIGHT! It’s been fantastic. Don’t know about the quiz – we were useless. I’m writing this now – just got in at 12:15 but I feel like it’s 3am. We mingled and chatted with loads: Dane Bowers, Hayley Evetts, who wants to come in, 3SL - what fit gorgeous guys - they wanna come in. Alex Sibley from BB, Narinder (nice girl but no I do not look like her at all, she’s pretty), Bubbles, Nasty Nick was hanging around – fancied Sonja I reckon. Vass got well in with the Nickelodeon guys and Dane Bowers!
We danced, Mel got drunk after one glass bless! Only messing. Suzanne, me and the girls really enjoyed it and well Vassos was in his element. A real super *. Best thing was they all recognised us. Photographers and journalists were everywhere. It was a hell of an experience. One I will definitely be telling my mum tomorrow – going home, yeah! xxx
Tuesday 11 March
Had a busy day. Our 2nd trial assistant, Kelly, was in. She was a lovely girl. Really liked her attitude. Felt she fitted in well yet she spent most of the day with Suzanne!
I had lovely Clients in. The highlight of the day was when an actor came in to test Jonathan. How unfair, yet the guy handled it well.
I was in a bit of a weird one as Ricardo wound me up this morning. I came in and my brush was leaning against the tissue box balancing as if a kid were playing building blocks. Fair enough he owned up to doing it but he bent my expensive brush which I do my nails with. I was gutted. He though it was a bloody joke and basically told me to get over it. I can’t believe him sometimes. He really winds me up I know I have that love/hate relationship but when you’re really not in the mood he can get on your nerves. Yet I do love him to bits. He didn’t stop there. He tried to embarrass me in front of Jonathan by being derogatory. It might have been funny but enough is enough. Course if you did it to him he’d go into a tantrum. Anyway whatever, my last Client was such a laugh. It was nice seeing her again. She came in on the 1st week The Salon opened.
The shocking part of my day was when I did a massage on a nude protestor. I found out what he did after he stripped nude to get on the couch. What an embarrassment, yet you have to keep a straight face. I just don’t get it. He’s made the headlines I believe as 30 of em did a protest in the cold – nude in Jan – nice!
The day ended when Paul told me I couldn’t have Sunday off and Suzanne conveniently got Thursday off to go to the Cheltenham races. I’m made up for her but it’s not fair. I haven’t been off sick or asked for anything before – except for the new uniforms! What’s wrong with me?
Monday 10 March
Forgot to mention yesterday Suzanne and her grin from here to Ireland. She mud wrapped Tony McCoy (famous jockey). Bless her she was really made up. She even got asked to be a tipper for C4 at the Cheltenham races – a what?
Today felt like the day dragged – I only had 3 Clients in. Kicked off this morning with Kelly – a flight attendant from West Sussex. He was a star. He wanted natural acrylic application on his nails as he felt it was a long time ambition achieved. Thank you sweet for my lovely card! Then I had Melinda – Bridget Jones’s double – wow! I even saw the tiger print knickers she wore on the last scene when she ran to Colin Firth in the show to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” – fab fab fab! I absolutely love that film.
I had a bit of a break this afternoon giving me a chance to give a clean around as Suzanne spent all morning sorting the Beauty department with Zena our trial Beauty Junior. She was sweet and hardworking yet a little quiet. I can imagine she was a little overwhelmed but we’ll have to see.
Bless Jon on his 2nd day. He’s been dropped right in the deep end yet his calm and collective nature has him in control. He is a really nice guy. I think giving him a chance he could prove to do well. It is quiet without our Sandra!
My last Client Ray had me in stitches. What a guy and he even had a Red Nose nail for Charity – bless him. His extensions were long and… I think he liked them. He made my evening! Zena sat in with me but didn’t interact much. Even Ray was joking around saying she didn’t talk much. I hope she enjoyed her day.
Ended the day nicely. Suzanne was fairly busy! I even asked Paul for some time off on Sun 16 and 23 so hopefully he’ll get back to me. And our uniforms are desperately in need of changing – they are wrecked!

Sunday 9 March
Got in nice and early. Didn't know what the day had in store except the usual morning meeting.
We were bonbarded with towels today (no Olly). Belss Carina, she's a great help.
I was still buzzing a bit after last night. I accompanied Sandra on the Boys & Girls programme on Channel 4. She was the celebrity guest. I'm so happy she got something to boost her. She was treated like a VIP. I met Vernon Kay, Tess Daly, Chris Evans, watched Misteeq perform and watched Sandra in the Green Room. Even got to watch The Salon (haha).
Paul kicked of his meeting with Employee of the week (Ricardo) and I got my present - a flight back home to get me there quicker (sweet).
We all got a surprise when Jonathan - the scrumptious client came in. My jaw dropped - I've got to stop it! We were all wondering what he's doing back, then Paul went on to say he was our new Receptionist on trial! Weird - but also nice.
My schedule looked quiet, but Paul had me to assist his interviews for a potential Beauty Assistant and he let me do the last four or five on my own. Couldn't believe it! I didn't Paul respected my ability of judgement so I was made up! The decision is going to be hard, until we see them work we can't decide. The viewers were good with the Junior position so maybe they should choose?
My day ended up being very long and stimulating. I think Paul wants Jonathan to come back tomorrow. He's actually a very sweet guy, joking aside about how fit he is! I must say it was weird without Sandra.
Thursday 6 March
Judgement day! Ricardo, Sandra and Suzanne looked fab - very fresh and prepared, you couldn't help but feel sad for one of them. Finally, Paul, after minutes of stalling and Suzanne coaxing him, he announced the results! Ricardo came 1st with 67% of the votes - it was inevitable. The tension rose and Paul blurted out the second person to stay was Suzanne, leaving poor San. It was such a horrible feeling to be in the room. There was a deadly silence. Sandra handled it like a true pro. I couldn't help let the tears roll, sad cow that I am. Then it set the rest off. It was such an emotional stress.
For Sandra and Olly to do their jobs ont he last day with a horrible feeling inside, I certainly take my hat off to them, especially Sandra as she only just found out.
Later in the day I think it finally sank in when she got ger hair done and Olly wanted acrylics on his toes! I sorted it and even helped blow dry Sandra's hair.
We finished the day early and tucked in to canapes and champagne. Got slightly tipsy, which led to mayhem in the spa. We all gathered there like a tribe after Paul dropped Sandra in the Jacuzzi with all her clothes on and wet her hair. She took it well and did a little strip!
Meanwhile, the twins were lappin it up in the sauna. It was a totally mad and emotional end to our 8 weeks, and we have another 6 weeks to go! I'm sure it doesn't get easier. Gonna miss Olly and Sandra!
Wednesday 5 March
Went to work with PMA – Positive Mental Attitude. Myself and Mel thought we were gonna be late as the train doors didn’t open at Balham so we missed our stop and had to get off at the next stop and change – what a palaver. We just giggled. She is a star – what a sweetie. We were still early anyway! Carina was waiting to go in.
My schedule was nice. Sandra was in at 12pm as she was doing the late night so half of the team were in. Suzanne strolled in and Ricardo zoomed in, at 10:15 bless him – he had a bad stomach all day. It’s good to have Sonja back – she’s settled in well.
Adee was very ill. I think he had a throat infection. He was ultra quiet. He went home this afternoon. John the clown covered him - what a sparkle to The Salon when he comes in. I think he’s such a loveable character. Vass as usual got on. Olly came in ill too – why’s everyone coming down with things. Even Paul had a cold!
I went out for lunches. What a weird experience to be let out in the day. Felt disgusting with the white uniform. I really HATE the uniform. It’s so grey looking – uncomfortable, frumpy and hot. Please Paul, change it! And I’m sick of ironing things.
This afternoon the gloom of tomorrow was hitting me again and I think it really hit Suzanne, Ricardo and Sandra, especially after our evening meeting.
I had a very interesting Client in this evening. John – the guy with the penis enlargement – I couldn’t believe it! He made me giggle. When he told me he had an operation I thought he was gonna tell me something serious as I saw he had a scar on his head. I went all serious until he blurted it out – ha ha! He worried me a bit as he had had 4 pints of beer but he was cool.
Anyway till tomorrow – I love Sandra and Ricardo but I can’t lose my partner in crime Suzanne – she’s a babe! xx

What a day. The tension of this eviction process is affecting me more than the others. It’s so sad. If I lose Suzanne I’m gonna feel lost and Sandra, she’s a whole backbone and Ricardo, well who’s gonna tease me and what a character.
The day has been chocca – busy wasn’t the word. No Olly, Suzanne was in treatments and I was back to back with nails! Great as it is but th heat was knocing me out. Clients have been wicked but in the back of my mind the question mark of who is going was just playing on my mind! Couldn’t wait to get out of there today – Suzanne got off as she still wasn’t too good and I stayed behind to do a stock check – nice!
Monday 3 March
Still on my mind about the nominees. Found out Suzanne wasn’t in this morning. I told her last night just to come in even if she does nothing but she must feel like shit!
The twins covered again which was great. They are seriously lovely girls and John, well he’s a super*. I love him – what a nice guy. He brings a bit of a buzz to the place and gets on with everyone. He mucks in and is a totally cool geezer as Adee would say.
I had a busy day. Sandra took a totally positive approach on her day as we discussed. I’m glad, but who’s the other two? This afternoon we found out – Ricardo and my partner in crime Suzanne. I can’t believe it – I think it’s just awful. What can ya say. Ricardo felt it’s Channel 4 but I said it’s Paul’s decision and Paul confirmed this tonight. No one was expecting a public vote and it’s hard because again people will be judging.
My day was filled with lots of emotion and I’m just gutted and feel guilty for the fact I’ve been asked to stay – oh God. It was the last day of training Olly. I’m dead proud cause the guy has really picked up and he has done so well. The fact I’ve taught a raw beginner shows to me I can do my job. Plus he had the interest and can definitely work on his talent. Well done Olly – you’re a good lad. I’m gonna miss him. xxx
Sunday 2 March
Good to see Paul back! He’s looking very revived from his week off. The tension was building today as he kicked off with the morning meeting and guess what… I got Employee of the Week. It was so nice to hear why from Adee and Paul added a few lines at the end. The most nail biting part of the day was whether our contracts were to be renewed. It was horrible to hear Sandra was up for nomination. Feels like we’re in Big Brother. She was gutted, I could see it. I’m so sad.
Suzanne was off today. I had a good weekend but the Sunday was on our minds. I got called into the office. I was giggly nervous but I was safe. Paul wants me to stay. I was happy but my mood was sad cause we’re all pretty close and to see someone go will be awful. We came together and I feel we should go. I know it’s TV but they’re all our friends… I felt I couldn’t be happy about staying as it would be selfish. So God this week is going to be the worst!
And on top of it Olly is finished. His contract is not going to be renewed. Bless him he took it on the chin and I take my hat off. I wonder who the other two are. It’s totally mad, mad, mad but I wonder what they have in store the next 6 weeks. They’d probably nominate weekly. Poor San – I’m staying with her tonight as she feels crap! xxx

Last day of the week! Kicked off with another meeting. Not Adee's week, Ricardo called in sick so Plan 8 went into action (ha). Desmond was covering in the afternoon and Carina in the morning. John the crazy man was covering Sonja.
Adee gave his last managerial sermon, bless him! He is a star! Made my point about having six clients back to back with no break - it's stupid. I'm not bothered, but it's different in Beauty, cos you're not stuck in one place and you need to set up and change your brain for each treatment when they are so varied. It's cool though, just wanted to make my point.
Everyone was chocca and it buzzed today with John's voice and Desmond, they are crackin lads! John was teasing me ALL day. He wouldn't let up. I found it hilarious trying to make me out as a desperate floozy - was all in jest though.
Had some nice clients in. I hope they enjoyed their time with us. I finally did grab a lunch break as one client didn't turn up. I only found out later he did and decided to do a streak show for us - what an idiot. To my embarrassment he was from Liverpool and I got teased about it after. I wouldn't mind, but the guy went Full Monty and we were all not in the mood - especially Adee and Suzanne. She would have hit him I think, if she hadn't had a foot file in her hand!
It was great to end the day with Olly's and Vass's mums in for treatments. Ended on a final note from our stand-in Manager. Here's to Paul coming back, I wonder what he has up his sleeve? Next week might be our last one...how wierd!?
