Thursday 16 April

Today I was rough all day. Non-stop puking, it was awful.

Everyone is really sad about leaving and I was Dolly Daydream for the rest of the day!

Adee's mum came in, she was lovely. Don't know how the day will end but I will miss everyone so much and I have learned a hell of a lot!


Wednesday 15 April

We all met up in McDonalds this morning. AJ and Sonja came in and were in fancydress. It must have looked so funny because they didn't have a clue.

We all went out for Sabrina's birthday in the evening, which was good. I think Sabrina really enjoyed herself. Last day tomorrow...


Tuesday 14 April

Today was OK, seemed like a long day. Everyone was hungover from last night. We watched Suzanne and Sonja's videos today. They were funny. Can't wait til tomorrow.


Monday 13 April

First thing this morning we had our models in, which went well. Everyone is a bit nervous now the show is coming to an end. I will miss everyone.

We have all had videos done of our funniest moments, which are excellent and very funny. Can't wait to see them all.


Wednesday 9 April

Started work at 3pm. I missed the Chuckle Brothers - I wish I had seen them. I used to think they were so funny when I was younger.

The late night show was good. I was cutting hair. I had 3 Clients in. It was twin night which was a bit freaky. My Clients were so pleased with their hair cuts. I wish Paul had seen them. We also had some girls in from RI:SE - they were cool. Sharmadean was in to help out - she looked well. The day was cool.


Tuesday 8 April

Busy day at work. Desmond came in to help out. Was so funny.

We all went out for dinner in the evneing which was good. I think I had a bit too much to drink and am now paying for it.

Everyone seems to be worrying now it's all coming to an end. It will be quite sad.

Late night tomorrow and I will be cutting hair. I can't wait!


Monday 7 April

Everyone back at work today. We had some people from Crossroads in. They seemed really nice and funny. John did a lovely colour on their hair.

We had model morning which was great. I really feel I have learnt a fair bit here and can’t wait to take it away and use it. Tomorrow Paul is taking us for a meal which will be nice.


Sunday 6 April

Morning started with a team meeting. Me and Vass got our reward for being Employee of the Week which was a week’s cutting course with Vidal Sassoon. I can’t wait, I was well chuffed. The day seemed to go so fast. Tomorrow morning is training which will be fun.


Thursday 4 April

Stared morning having a meeting. All went well. Mel seemed a bit tired from the late night. She wasn’t the only one but much better night having it with her. Tonight we are going to Boy George’s play which will be fun.


Wednesday 2 April

Started work today at 3. It was AJ’s birthday so they had a bit of a celebration. His sister came down as a surprise guest. She was a really nice girl and I think he was really choked.

The late night show was a lot better having a bit of help with Mel being in so that went a lot easier. Adee had a surprise guest from the past – that was cool.


Tuesday 1 April

Busy day today, everybody looking forward to going to the bachelors party this evening, it should be good fun. Adee back so the team seemed a bit better. Still Ricardo is missed but I'm sure he will do well out there. He has the right attitude. Tomorrow I have a lie in as I'm doing the late night show.

Sunday 28 March

No team meeting this morning as Paul was not in until 12. Ricardo phoned in ill. I can’t believe him. Mel and Johnny got to meet each other’s parents. It was a cool day. I can’t believe it will all be over. I will miss it and have to stay in contact we will.

Me and Vass got Employee of the Week and our prize will be to go on a hair course which will be interesting.


Thursday 27 March

Morning started with everyone worrying whether Ricardo is going or staying. Cool day then after work team meeting and Ricardo stayed which is cool, as long as he knows not to do it again. I think he has learned. Then Paul got some pizzas and beers in and we all chilled out.


Wednesday 26 March

Started work at 3 because I was doing the late show. The late show was ok. A bit p***** off with just running around like mad not enjoying the night, but it’s cool.


Tuesday 25 March

Model shoot this morning for Glamour mag. I had to dress as a gold Elvis. It was so cool when I went to work.

I had to vote for Ricardo to stay or go. It was awful. Work throughout the day was cool.


Monday 24 March

First thing this morning met Vass. Had model morning. Paul thought it would be funny to let my model be a clown even though I have a fear of them .It was horrible and I’m still scared of them.

Mel and Jonathan seem all loved up. Good easy day. Everybody chilled out and finished early. Tomorrow morning I have a photo shoot for Glamour mag for the Lavender Trust. Can’t wait.


Sunday 23 March

Good day at work today. Mel and our receptionist are seeing each other – good for them. Ricardo will be up for a vote this week - whether he stays for good. Hopefully all ends positively. Adee got Employee of the Week. He does a good job, especially for photo shoots and hair shows. Overall a cool day.



Thursday 20 March

Best day today. I had my front cover photos done. First of all really nervous, but then loved every moment. Once I settle in I can’t get enough of the camera. Everybody did a great job and I appreciate being able to show what I can do. Thanks to Paul for letting me be the model – can’t wait to see the mag.


Wednesday 19 March

Arrived at work at 2 with John. Preparing my hair for tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to it. I also did the Late Night show which was great. The day seemed to fly by but was great.


Tuesday 18 March

Busy day at work. We had a power cut today for about half an hour which was so funny. The Salon was full as well. Paul ended up cutting hair in the Colouring room. Adee was cutting hair in the dark and Sabrina was doing nails in the Staff Room. It was a funny afternoon. Tomorrow I will be getting my colour done for Thursday’s photo shoot so looking forward to that.


Monday 17 March

Today we had to come to work early to do First Aid which was interesting to learn. AJ was used for the first model. He is so funny. I’m glad he was chosen. He seems made like the rest of us, so he fits in well. Also had photo shoot for the beginning of The Salon which was fun. Can’t wait to see it.


Sunday 16 March

First day back at work. Paul announced that he was going to use me for the model on Thursday for a magazine called Hair Now. I couldn’t believe it. I’m so excited. Everybody tired and getting back into normal routine after the weekend.


Thursday 13 March

Today we had little red noses that we had to design a hair style on for Red Nose Day. Sabrina’s was the best I think. She enjoyed that. She did do a good job on it.

At the end of the day Jonathan found out he was staying. I’m pleased for him.

Paul and Adee had waxing for Comic Relief. How painful. Adee had 1 eyebrow and Paul had his armpits and chest. That was funny. The day went so fast today as were busy throughout the day.


Wednesday 12 March

Started work at 3 today as I will be doing the late night show which is good fun. I met an amazing lady today – Cynthia Payne – a madame from the 60s. She used to run the top brothels. Her life seemed so interesting. I could have sat there all day listening to her stories.

Then it was time for the late show to start – it went ok. Ricardo came in drag and looked amazingly beautiful. I would have never recognised him until he spoke. He walks better in stilettos than most women – gorgeous!


Tuesday 11 March

Today another girl came in for Olly’s job. She was really nice. Busy day. The red hair extensions seem to be doing well for Red Nose Day. Jonathan the new receptionist seems to be settling in well now. He’s a nice guy.


Monday 10 March

Started morning with our models which went well. My model Caroline was a lovely girl. Jonathan the new receptionist seems to be fitting in well. We also started doing our tags for red nose day. Red extension pieces which look cool. Over all good day.


Sunday 9 March

Very strange day today without Sandra and Olly. It just seemed like they were going to walk through to start their shift.

There were also auditions for Olly's job today and we had a new Receptionist Jonathan. He was cool and worked hard considering the circumstances. Oh well, I look forward to tomorrow to see what mad things happen. Every day there's something new to think about...


Thursday 6 March

Start of the day was the meeting, which was very upsetting when I found out Sandra was going. I loved that girl and I am going to miss her so much.

We had a celebration for the 8 weeks we had done, which was cool and a bit raunchy. I wouldn't have wanted anyone to go as we are all like one big family now, but it's happened and we have to get on with the show.


Wednesday 5 March

Late night show tongiht. Not my shift, thank God. Feel very tired today. Very busy.

Adee wasn't very well and couldn't do the late night, but a good day over all. Can't wait until tomorrow to find out who goes...


Tuesday 4 March

Sonja back at work. The whole gang is back together again. Today Marilyn was in. He is a very cool guy. I would love to have a night out with him. That would be an experience! So busy today – can’t wait to rest my feet.


Monday 3 March

Busy day – Sonja still not back. Can’t wait to see her again.

Model morning for me and Vass. Went ok. I seemed a bit dizzy today but the day went well.

Everybody on edge about who will be going on Thursday. My contract has been renewed thank God so I can now relax.


Sunday 2 March

Paul back to work looking relaxed and fresh. He also mentioned my haircuts today and is considering maybe letting me do some more which is nice and enjoyable for me.

Sandra has also been picked as 1 of the 3 to go which is pretty sad. We find out the rest tomorrow.

We worked with John today and the twins. He is lovely. Cool day.


Thursday 27 Feb

Adee’s last day started off with a team meeting. I had to do Ricardo’s Clients – 2 ladies. My first one was an American lady who was lovely and loved her new haircut. I really enjoyed it as it gave me a chance to show the public what I can do. My other lady also liked her cut and when you please people like that it’s a nice buzz for you.


Wednesday 26 Feb

Busy day at work. With Desmond the late night show went well. Also very busy. Adee coped well. I think Desmond enjoyed doing the late show. Many randy single people!


Tuesday 25 Feb

Well the morning started off well. Everything in order then Sonja had a Client in who brought 4 guests with her which were dogs. It was so funny. Sandra’s face was hilarious. She tried so hard to keep a straight face and she did do a good job at it. Adee didn’t seem too happy which is right. They smell a bit and we had a gentleman in who was allergic to dogs so they had to go.

Sonja went home as she wasn’t well so we were very busy. My feet were killing me. That means sensible shoes tomorrow for the late night show.


Monday 24 Feb

Model morning. Very enjoyable and my model was absolutely lovely which helps. Vass’s model went well which was cool. We had a pretty busy day but fun.

It seems weird with Paul not being there. Adee seems to be enjoying being the Manager and he seems to be doing a good job. He seems to be getting on better with everybody. I just hope the rest of the week goes well for him as he seems to be putting A effort into his job role.


Sunday 23 Feb

First day back at work. Adee being Manager was good – he seemed to do a good job. I can’t wait for tomorrow to do my model. It should be fun.

We had a lot of people not turn up so I had to find someone off the street with a camera crew following me. That was fun and all went well. I also enjoyed watching the demo that Adee did.


Thursday 20 Feb

It was Paul's last day today before he goes on holiday. Adee was made the boss. Sandra and Olly had an argument, but it got sorted out by Paul.

I'm looking forward to doing my training with Adee as I will be using a few of his techniques and I find it very interesting.

Wednesday 19 Feb

This morning I had to work on my own as Vas was working the late shift, but I coped, it was easy. Everybody is wondering who the manager will be. Tomorrow is the day...


Tuesday 18 Feb

Good day at work. Look forward to doing another model. Looking forward to finding out who will be the Manager for the week. We had someone from Hollyoaks in today. She was reall nice. All good.


Monday 17 Feb

Cool day at work. Had some lovely Valentine’s gifts and cards. I will write back to them all, as it is so nice that they took time to do that for me. Thank you.


Sunday 16 Feb

First day back at work. Sonja got employee of the week – good for her. I got a lovely Florrey bag for getting it last week.

We have to vote this week for who should be manager. I went for Suzanne and Adee as I think they would make good managers. Looking forward to that on Thursday.


Thursday 13 Feb

Last day at work – busy. Mel won the money and I couldn’t have thought of anyone better to get it. She works hard. Today everything went smoothly. Looking forward to the weekend.

Tuesday 11 Feb

Well today we had Clients booked in until 3 which was nice. Easy day for everyone. Then we had some guys in who help the team communicate better and make a closer bond together. We all had to dress up as sheep and Adee was the shepherd. It was so funny but very interesting I think everybody learnt something.

Well, got a long day tomorrow. Starting at 2:45 and finishing at 12 – special Valentine’s which should be interesting.


Monday 10 Feb

Started day badly by forgetting shopping list last night and buying it out of my money. Mel also got the same shopping so we won’t run out for a while. Paul also announced to us that at the end of the week the viewers shall choose who will get £3,000. To be honest I would rather not know. I don’t know why, I suppose it gets your hopes up for nothing but that’s the way it goes.

Wednesday me, Adee, Ricardo and Olly will be doing the late shift which I think will be very funny. Can’t wait to see how it is.


Sunday 9 Feb

Back to work after a nice weekend. team meeting (cool) - everything running smoothly. Couldn’t stop getting bleach tint etc on my brand new skirt. A bit of a bummer. But over all good day as well as getting employee of the week – wicked.


Thursday 6 Feb

Well today I had a bit of a hangover from last night - not too bad. Sonja had her hair done, extensions which looked cool. I think she is really pleased. Olly and Suzanne had a bit of a barney.

Can’t wait for tomorrow – going home to see my family and friends. Paul also announced that The Salon will be going on for another 6 weeks which I will definitely do as this is a once in a life time experience and may never get the chance again so just wait and see.


Wednesday 5 Feb

My Birthday – 19! Mel got me a lovely present first thing in the morning which was sweet as at first it did not feel like my birthday, having no family and friends around. Then at 10:30 The Salon got me a stripper. I was so embarrassed I didn’t want to touch him! Then I got some champagne and gift vouchers from everyone. It was really lovely. It was definitely a birthday to remember.


Tuesday 4 Feb

Good day at work. Everything running smoothly. Ricardo is back thank God. Everything back as normal – can’t wait for tomorrow – my birthday.


Monday 3 Feb

Everyone had a hangover. We had Desmond Murray in – known as the Afro Man. He was cool and I think he thought we were mad. I missed Ricardo today and don’t want him to be replaced but that’s not down to me.

Tomorrow I have my 1to1 with Paul which I’m looking forward to. Can’t wait to go to sleep. Tired after last night but it was worth it.


Sunday 2 Feb

Cool day at work getting the models ready. Interesting fashion designer and make up artist in. I had an excellent night at the show. Our models looked great. Everything went smoothly. The food was nice, drinks too expensive, but the night was great. Toni & Guy and Vidal Sassoon were cool and the male models looked fantastic.
