Meet the teenagers >
Recently, a bunch of academics and professionals got themselves in a right old state about what they're calling 'the death of childhood'. In a letter to The Telegraph, they wrote: "Since children's brains are still developing, they cannot adjust – as full-grown adults can – to the effects of ever more rapid technological and cultural change" (Read the full letter on The Telegraph website).
So far, it seems no one under the age of 40 has been asked for their opinion on the subject. E4 wants to know what you think, so please get on the forum and have your say on the vote pages >.
Here are some quotes from the forum:
From Hannah
"If some kids are not brought up the right way then they can be very naughty!"
From 'Fantasy and Comedy Are all my Joy'
"Yeh, I get put on a lot of pressure from my family being told to do my homework even when i've done it and so happen to be playing games when they see me. I'm fully capble to do stuff and sort things out by myself. I know they're trying to help but i feel that I'm not trusted."
From 'Road Trip'
"I don't like being treated like a kid."
From Antonia
"I'm still a kid, well i class my self as one but i don't like it coz my mum doesnt do u no what. I have to make my own dinner when she's at work!!!"
