Dean Andre has been a Hollywood Sound Designer and Composer for over 30 years. His compositions have twice earned him Emmy nominations and a Grand Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival.

When Dean was first told about the show, he described it as his, "dream project". Dean has been working on Space Cadets for over eight months, designing and building an entirely new sound system, and is convinced that the mission can succeed.
Dean is an expert on the physical effects that sound can have on the human body. Sound alone can generate hugely powerful feelings of anxiety and even nausea. On Space Cadets sound will be instrumental in conveying the feeling of motion.
Dean has spent the last three months making and recording individual noises, which he then layers to produce his final sound.
This has included throwing cat litter and dog food against a van to recreate the sound of a meteorite storm.
