Before Shipwrecked

What attracted you to spend five months on a desert island?

The thought of spending time on a remote desert island, thousands of miles away from the mayhem of London was too tempting!

What were you doing before you arrived on the Island?

Living in East London and generally having as much fun as possible. I was working as a freelance make-up artist & cocktail waitress, trying to save my pennies so I could fund travelling.

What did your friends and family think of you doing it?

I kept it very quiet, but the people I did tell were really happy and excited for me (and a wee bit jealous too... Who wouldn't be?)

What do you think you will achieve by doing it?

I think it will be a really cool challenge and a truly unique experience! I also want to meet a big bunch of randoms and have fun while making new mates.

What's your longest period away from home prior to Shipwrecked?

I've lived in 17 houses since I left home aged 17, so I'm used to picking myself up and moving around whenever the fancy takes me.... Longest period away is about two years!

What did you think about having to spend so long away from home with complete strangers?

I was really excited about it. I love new situations and meeting new people, so for me it was perfect!

What's your worst habit?

Swearing.

What's your best feature?

Being a good listener and a loyal friend.
